There must be something magical about this tent ... it can grow anything.

My daughter was eating an apple and found a seed in it, that had a tiny tap root.
She asked if she could plant it in the tent.
So we grabbed a 6l airpot and some BioBizz Lightmix ... I didn't hold out much hope, but wanted to encourage her enthusiasm, so did the Daddy thing ...


Yesterday we added a germinated apple seed to Campus, when the first signs of life above ground were witnessed, with healthy looking cotyledon.

She is a very proud mother of a baby apple tree ... and doing the 'newbie' thing of wanting to go into the tent every few hours to see how much it has grown.

So..... Wadda ya gonna it...... It'll be a new strain, Apple seeds don't come true to type...... Heck, it could be the new Pink Lady or Jazz spilling out of the soil, better get it registered before Monsanto snips off a cutting and claim it as their own.....

Day 58

FLUSHING PERIOD - Day 5​

A little experiment.

Bought a 50W exterior LED COB light to take some 'natural' portraits of the girls.
Allegedly - a 4000 lm, 550W equivalent, @ 'White 6400K'.

This was fairly rushed, so - yes - the backdrop is naff, and there is still some HPS light sneaking in on the lower left, and the focus isn't great, yada yada yada ... but all of those can be easily fixed if this works.

Anyway ... on with the full frontals:

The plan is for it to become strong enough to throw outside onto the land, and for us to enjoy apples for many seasons to come!

Tomorrow, what I'll do is put up the LED infused full frontal pics of some selected ladies.

A couple of the Green Poison ladies are worth looking at.

Day 59

FLUSHING PERIOD - Day 6​

This morning we had a near fatal event.

While removing Cream Mandarine Auto #2 [The Beast] from the tent, due simply to her size and structure, her limbs could not take the unsupported weight, and she collapsed. Her main stem completely bent over. Her anorexic limbs resting on the ground. She had lost all dignity.

However, after administering emergency and restorative repairs, she has regained her former glory, and now stands tall and proud - albeit with the assistance of a LOT of ties and wires and all manner of third party scaffolding.

A real trooper, she fought back, gathered her thoughts and her composure, and found the strength to still pose for her cover shots.
Now, remember, as you check out her photos, this is a standard Cream Mandarine Auto ... not the XL variety.
That is a 30L pot ... not a 15L or 20L ... a full-on, don't take any prisoners, 7.4 U.S. gallon pot that stands 32cm [~13 inches] high.

Ladies and gentleman ... making her solo début ... I present to you ... The Beast ...
