Yeah, man.. I'm not really sure haha. I don't think pH adjusting will hurt at all. I give them that final push using overdrive before I choose to flush for 10 days. More reading to do tonight.

Day 55

FLUSHING PERIOD - Day 2

Good morning!

My first observations and thoughts for the day.

Maybe you can start flushing some of the plants, in stages, it seems like they have all they need to finish correctly. It can help to improve the flavor of your flowers by letting them end with yellow leafs, that tells us the soil doesn't have nutrients and the plant is eating from herself.

Sweet smokes!!
J.

The leaves are yellowing RAPIDLY!

Especially the Sweet Trainwreck Auto Prem Baby - haven't experienced anything like it before.
Seems she has a voracious, insatiable appetite and has no problems chewing through multiple leaves - viz. completely consuming them - in any given 24 hour period. At this rate, there won't be enough fan leaves to last, even the lesser, 10 day period.

Surprisingly, the Green Poison Auto girls also appear to have pushed the turbo button to the finish line, with the accelerated yellowing of fan leaves and the absolute commitment to auto-cannibalism.

How do ya tell the difference between yellowing leaves due to end o' life cannibalism and that due to nutrient deficiencies?

all this bud porn gets me so excited I want to overfeed, water my babies

Well, I guess in a way, they're one and the same.
I mean - the reason they eat themselves is to meet a nutrient need.
So in a way, it is a symptom of general deficiency.

For me the difference is when it happens, and at what rate it happens.

Day 56:

FLUSHING PERIOD - Day 3

Girls don't seem to be as thirsty as they used to be.
Not sure they're enthralled with the water only diet.
Oh well - that's life.

No feeding this morning.
I'll give them some water after their siesta this evening for a bit of breakfast refreshment.

Some pics ... colour isn't great - I used the flash in a number of them ... but it gives an idea of where they're at in terms of structure, shape and stickiness.

Monsanto is the antichrist of the gardening world Boycott ALL their companies such as Scotts, and 40% of all seed companies! They have even taken patents on heirloom seed names!

Read this:
http://www.thehealthyhomeeconomist.com/the-four-steps-required-to-keep-monsanto-out-of-your-garden/

OH NO!! It seems impossible to get away from them!! They are EVIL!

So General Organics is part of General Hydroponics which = Monsanto. BOOOOOO!!
I will need to look into another product. My Go Box is getting low and I was just going to buy another....but not now. That is unless I need to stick with what I started?
The girls are looking great. Maybe less is more!
Almost to the finish line!! I can't wait!!

Lockout prevents uptake of ANY nutrient and may even affect the plants ability to use its own stores. Water it takes in thru the roots is the same ph as what you add

I thought the point of it was lockout so that the plant uses everything in the fan leaves. I could be completely wrong as I am on my second grow. I spoke with AN about it and they told me not to worry about pHing during final flushing, especially since I'm using Flawless Finish.
