Dutch Passion Yozhik grows Auto Night Queen & Auto Blackberry Kush

They're going fast buddy! I'm sooo tempted to grow inside again. Last week we had a heat wave reaching 35°C and now the girls are on my window sill waiting for the rain and wind to stop. I really don't want them waterlogged!

I had my girls outside last year in the blistering Spanish summer.
They LOVED it.
As long as there's a breeze, they seem to cope just fine.

About night queen [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]... Dunno what's causing that. I think it's an autofem thing. I have never seen that with photoperiods. Hopefully someone can shed some light on the situation.

If this leaf thingy thing was across all plants in the tent, I'd know it was something I was, or wasn't, doing.
But it seems isolated to this one baby.
Curiouser and curiouser.

Honey boo-boo sure is catching up huh?

Honey Boo Boo might be a beast.
Fingers crossed!

COMMENTS:

Sooooo ... then THIS happened ...

The teenagers have made their way into the BIG tent.
The substitutes remain in the Nursery Tent.

They're now in their final homes - 30 litre [8 gal (U.S.)] pots with Canna Terra Professional PLUS -with the thought process being to run a lighter nute schedule, with Base Nutes, plus cherry picked supplements.

Temp is going to be an issue.
It always is here in summer.
Already having to run the A/c, with only 2 x 600W lights on.
It's going to be balls to the wall if I turn more on.

Without the A/c, temps with 2 lights was running around 29°C
Too high for my liking - at the uper end of the sweetspot, and gives me zero headroom.
With the A/c on LOW setting, and with the intake ducting from the Extractor sucking in directly from the cooled A/c air, temps are manageable at around 27°C
That is likely to get lower as the ambient temp of the room outside the tent also drops.

To assist even further, 'lights out' will be during the hottest part of the day.
Right now its a case of monitoring the environment to dial the tent in.
Humidity is under control.
Plants are looking comfortable.
Let the games commence!

Wow buddy! 2X600W is a lot of power and light. Especially for what looks to me to be about 1.2 x 1.2 meters. But if you can keep temps around 27°C may the force be with you! I'm sure you'll get some monsters growing in that tent. They'll probably start growing like mad after rooting a bit.
You keep tempting me to start an inside grow even though temps and sun are great here at the moment. But if I was in Spain I'd love to grow outside too. Where in Spain do you live? Down south near Sevilla it's way to hot I suppose. But where I used to live up by the French border on the coast (Llançá) it was great growing outside!
Anyway, I've got my eyes glued to your thread buddy! I'm already starting to droole... Lolz

This Grow Tent is 3.0m x 2.0m.
The Nursery Tent [doubles as Drying Tent at harvest time] is 1.2m x 1.2m.

So usually, the grow tent, with 16 plants x 30 litre pots, needs the full 4 x 600W arsenal.
But this time I'm only running 12 plants, and hope to be frugal with the lights, for the most part to keep temps down.

Really trying to simplify things this time.
Complete soil, less nutes, less plants.
Trying the "less is more" coupled with "quality over quantity".
That's the theory anyway.

Ah, that clears things up. Then 2x 600w seems on target. I have Dimlux electronic ballasts that I can tone down to 30% if temps get to high. Can you turn yours down? And here's another question for ya, aren't you worried about low RH with the combination of AC, airpots, and heavy air extraction? I always try to keep RH rather high in the vegging stage. During flowering, especially towards the end, I couldn't dehumidify enough though. So then your AC should be a valuable asset.

Never had an issue with RH.
Nursery Tent was kept at around 50%.
Grow Tent usually stabilises around 40%.

It gets like a jungle in there usually, and always worried about mold, so prefer lower RH.
Even with RH @ 35% last grow, some mold still developed in the large main colas, which was eradicated pretty bloody quickly!

Wow! 35% was a target I never reached at the end of flowering. My grow room was 3m x 1.5m but only had a 10cm exhaust on the roof. So I had an ac in the tent. And even then I'd reach 50-60%+ RH. I was always on the lookout for mold... But resistant spider mites, that inevitably come with commercial clones, hate the high RH so I saw it as a benefit too.

COMMENTS:
I feel like I'm hanging on by my fingernails.
Plants look good - seem to have had zero issues with the transplanting and relocation into the big girls' tent.
Temps, etc are "under control", but only just.
I feel I am one tiny mishap away from disaster.
Maybe just a hint of paranoia from last summer's nightmare.

I HATE running the A/c continuously.
The electricity consumption is horrendous.
May as well just take any cash I have and burn it.
Pretty much the same end result.

Anyway ... pics of the teens and their new homes.

I noticed that you don't use any products containing silicon. Apparently it's kinda controversial because you see so many different opinions on fora. But I use Regulator (European name) by Aptus. I find it really helps with heat and drought stress! I quit using it about halfway through flowering though. You might want to give it a try although it costs a small fortune but a little goes a very long way. Always start making your nutes mixture with silicon. Add it to the tap water, mix well, and then add the rest to your desired EC and Ph.
Anyway, things are looking good buddy! I love NQ3's fat fingers. Really indica looking already!

Dude I respect you to the roof , but How can you even thing to grow with hps and dont use a cool tube??? Get yourself 2 cooltubes, and plug some extractor fan on it... I had 400w in cool tube fited on my carbon filter and pk125, It would be impossible to do attic grow without it in the start of the summer..
