Lighting Yield per 1 plant per 1 auto cob?

My wills 2000 watt will be for veg. If I need to use my 4x4 for flowering ever I'll just get another 1000 watt led to run in there. Maybe a spider farmer 1000

I think I may try the Mars Hydro TS 3000 for my final
You must not have read my guide I just posted. The TS series is coming in at 1.65 PPFD/Watt. Much better $$ per Watt leds listed coming in over 1.8 PFFD. You should not be considering anything under 1.8 PPFD in 2020.

Was a decent budget light. Way better than any blurple out there. Lol.
Wills is a bluple with a couple low end cobs. I would expect about a 1.3 PPFD/Watt. I think you may be getting bamboozled by the advertisers and social media pumpers description.

I was gonna do a comparison with a blurple and the new samsung compared to the wills light to see what performs best
Tests have already been done, the blurples are coming in around 1-1.3 PPFD and the Samsungs "QB" style will come in around 2.0 PFFD.

What's some good lights to cover 4x4 that you recommend in the same price range roughly?

I’m using one Migro 100+ for one plant in a 60x60 and this grows a single monster plant. I understand good genetics and phenos also play a big part in that. Next year I’ll add an Aray to the existing COB for a 80x120 with 2 x 16litre pots.

Since this post I have gotten rid of the 2000 and 3000 watt wills lights. They suck too much power. Got 4 cobs plus 2 1000 watt leds. A 1000 mars hydro ts1000 and a wills 1000 with 2 cobs built in to that light. I have a bunch of cheaper leds l. 3 lights for 70 bucks on some app like wish and ali baba. Then got 6 more of those for 140 cuz they seemed to be vegging great. I plan to get more auto cobs when I can to replace some of those cheap o led lights for better flowering lights. But for now its working.

I documented a grow on another forum where the largest yielding plant was 120g (Durban Poison auto) under 1 cob but it did get side lighting from other cobs though (5'x3'x7' tent with 5 autocobs). Feeding schedule was really simple just MaxiGro and MaxiBloom 2 tsp per gallon every watering. You could easily harvest more.

Durban is on the right

Forgot to mention over the last week of growth the plants had more light moved over from the other half of the tent. I wouldn't expect this upped the yield much though.

I have 2 of the older lights from several years ago. I just completed a single 5g fabric pot coco manifold with 8 mains, GH trio, Panamagoo fem freebie from Mass Medical. The clone I used was from a seed mother I had just flowered, so this was my second run with this exact genetic and my third run overall with Panamagoo since I'd grown 2 other seeds previously through harvest.

I kept the two cobs about 10 inches apart, measured from the hanging loop at the top of the driver. The plants were vegged until each of the 8 mains on the manifold grew 4 nodes vertically. The lights were 18" from the tops at beginning of flower, ending at about 12" by harvest. I use angelina reflectors. Night temps were 65-68F, lights on 70-78 depending on proximity to lights.

Total dry weight after trim was 75g. If I had deleafed this plant around day 21, I imagine I could have added another 10-12g to that number, but I'm experiencing low RH at the moment and deleafing when it's dry seems to throw my plants into a tailspin, so I avoid this technique until the spring.

My only gripe with cobs versus a QB is light spread. The buds right under the cobs are the best I've ever seen, but you really need a flat flat plant to get much from the lower or sides of the plant. My space also demands a smaller plant overall, so I think I overshot my container volume and grew too much plant for my tent, keeping some of the colas pushed against the walls.
