I know you grow beast with autocobs and mega crop. Why i switched myself to both. Plus others on the site I follow as well of course. But you grow some amazing plants with autocobs. I'm just using different cobs from wills but with extra uv, ir, white blue and red leds for full spectrum. In my 44" x 44" closet I run 5 autocobs my best plant was 1.67 lbs 2.5 grams per watt
Why you say that?I'm going to have to strongly disagree with your recommendation.
You are going to grow good weed with it no doubt. But to recommend it at that price point is a no no. You have to remember not all "cree cobs" are created equal and the market has moved well past blurple led's at this point. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't a oversite on their part neglecting to mention what cree cob and driver they put in it. I'm not into light bashing and like I said it will grow good weed, but at the same time I hate to see someone pump up a sub "par" light for the $$$. I strongly suggest anyone shopping for a new light to check out the Migrow channel on youtube. He does a ton of testing and educating on various brands of lights at every price point. Why you say that?
Thanks. I just like my light so far. Ordered another 3000 watt. So u had me paranoid like they were bad or something. I am digging it so far. honestly for the price on that stop your order and get another light. Watch the Migrow chan on youtube. It's pretty easy picking a decent led right now. Just go with something with the Samsung LM301 diodes and you'll be 2x better off. I'm looking at that price you are paying for it and you could get into some high end lights. And don't be suckered into the 3000 watt claim. I would run 200 watts of LM301's any day over the 600 actual watts the wills puts out.Thanks. I just like my light so far. Ordered another 3000 watt
Yeah I'm trying to cover 4x4 areas. I got 1 4x4 tent now and another 8x4 tent on the way. Got enough tent space now to grow my whole 12 plants I'm allowed to grow here in Michigan. I was thinking of trying a spider farmer or mars hydro with the new Samsung LM301. Maybe that will be the 3rd light I get and I'll run a test to see what performs better. I just saw what the ppl were doing with cobs here. And I came across the wills light. It had cobs and other leds also so I wanted to try it out. A lil cheaper than the phlizon which also has great reviews. So I decided to try the wills. I wont mess wit blurples. But I am interested in the new samsung diodes. I would like to give them a run against my wills lights in the near future. My plants are loving the wills so far. I started off growing with a 1000 watt old school magnetic ballast. I been growing for years but I dont know allot about light components like drivers and all that. I know basics like the different types of grow lights but not much about building them or what's inside them. I would love to run autocobs too but just pricey for me for now. I appreciate your help though man. I already got my light ordered and shipped out. I'm not returning it now. But i will try something else next light. I know hlg and elextric sky are some of the best on the market and if I was rich and had the funds I'd totally rock those expensive lights. But I'm just a average 34 yr old dude with 7 kids kids trying to get by in life. I know certain quantum boards are good. About as much as I know about led components. I just seen the umols and the light spread and digged the light compared to some of the other budget lights my wills puts out some good light. Not saying my light is the best. I'm just digging it for the price point. Coming from old school magnetic ballasts to an led was a bug step for me. Lolhonestly for the price on that stop your order and get another light. (edit) I just was doing some quick pricing and for close to the same price you could go with

Personally I don't even like HLG, I think they are over priced, but I'm just showing you a comparable priced light that would Kick ass all over the wills. Or simply just roll with 3 autocobs for the same price..
You've inspired me to make a easy reference guide for people in the future to look at before making their purchase. Lots of budget options above 1.8 PPFD/watt in 2020.Yeah I'm trying to cover 4x4 areas. I got 1 4x4 tent now and another 8x4 tent on the way. I think I may try the Mars Hydro TS 3000 for my final light to compare against the wills 3000 watt. Yeah I did some research before I made my purchase on the wills. Was a decent budget light. Way better than any blurple out there. Lol. I was gonna do a comparison with a blurple and the new samsung compared to the wills light to see what performs best. But I already know the blurples are a waste of money so I'm not going that route. I always disliked the blurples. But my final light I wanna try the TS 3000 when funds allow me to do so in the near future. You've inspired me to make a easy reference guide for people in the future to look at before making their purchase.
