Lighting Yield per 1 plant per 1 auto cob?

If heat isn't an issue HPS is probably the best cheap option for that size space. Leds just save money in the long run with electricity costs and bulb replacements.

What is an average yield with 1 autoflower plant and 1 autocob say grown in soil?
In soil I was getting 2-3 ounces per plant with 1 autocob. In Coco I'm averaging 4-6 ounces per plant with a single autocob. (all autoflwoers)

I have a spider farmer sf 1000 (samsung diodes) , Mars Cob (105 watts) and 3 autocobs. My autocobs are my best performers/gpw and draw the least amount of power.

I been watching you on here for a while man. Nice growing! Love your set up. I'm working my way up to 12 plant set up. Gonna use 3 different LEDs. The wills 2000 watt cree cob full spectrum which I'm running now in my auto tent. Then I'm buying the other 2 lights attached to test some different kinda 2000 watt led lights. When my first light shits the bed I'll buy 4 autocobs to replace it. Im experimenting with all kinds of leds. 1st tent is a 4'x4'x78". Second tents gonna be 4'x8'x80" with the 2 new lights
You should check out the MIGROW youtube Chanel. He goes over most of these lights before you spend any $$$ on them and you will get a better understanding of what to look for in a light. The VS you listed will probably do well, anything really with the Samsung LM301's are going to be pretty comparable. I purchased the Spider farmer only because it was the cheapest at the time of all the QB's with the samsung diodes. Over priced now imo. If I lived in the U.S and didn't have to worry about big shipping costs and getting f'ed with the currency rates I would never bother looking at any other light than the Autocobs.

Yeah I just dont have the funds to invest in autocobs yet. 8 autos would be a big investment for the 4x8 tent. I wanted to test these 3 leds first though. Got 1 running. Other tent coming soon. Will post pics when everything is set up. Growing 10 photos in the big tent then weeding out the males. LSP is the strain by solfire genetics in the 2nd big tent. Then when the smaller auto tent is done I'm gonna start more autos. When the photos are done I'll start more autos. Just messing around with some photos also for a run. Already got the beans ready to plant.

For the price of 4 autocobs I feel like I can get a stronger glow light for cheaper. But cheaper isnt always better so when my first light goes I'll try autocobs. Just dont wanna make that big of an investment for a 4x4 space at this time. 12 autocobs would cost me a pretty penny. 4 I cud do eventually. But for now I gotta go a lil cheaper. But I will be going thru BigSmo when I do get autocobs. And I'll experiment with these too when I can. Been intrigued by them since day 1 of learning about them and mega crop both thanks to this forum. And I love growing autos cuz I like smoking different strains n shorter grow time.
I beg to differ for the money autocobs are hard to beat IMO. In the long run it will cost you less money to use autocobs . I've ran 14 autocobs, fans, and a dehumidifier 24/7 and a heater when needed for $60 to $65 a month

Depends on the strain imho. Some strains just yeild low or high or middle of the road. For example my last grow had a mix of 5 different strains each with their own cob. One plant yielded 153g (Mazarilla) alone while others yielded 100g. It's all in the genetics.

My main reason for using autocobs is to be able to give different parts of the canopy different amounts of light.
Good lights can be had for less than half the cost per watt of COBs.

I recently had a dimmer stop working on an HLG QB, and was torn between getting 4 autocobs to replace it, or more QBs.
Because LED technology improves constantly, I decided to go cheap, and got these for about $0.67 per watt.

I'm hoping that these will also offer the ability to have two different plants in the same tent get different light levels when needed.

I'm running cobs but its built in with other led for full spectrum. 2000 watt "wills" is the brand. Found on amazon. 426 actual watts that it pulls from the power. My ladies are loving it. Comes with two 3k cree cobs and two 6k cree cobs. Covers UV, IR, Red, Blue and white spectrums. Bad ass light. Leas than half the cost of just 4 single cobs. It would be nice to be able to adjust single cobs to different plant heights tho. I feel ya there. Good theory and good lights I agree. Just a bit out of my price range unfortunately. But I love this light I got. Phlizon makes a similar light but more expensive.
