wow what a mess
we need to rewind this thread to where i removed males to alot of pics got tossed into one thread where i added plant and removed a couple from what the original start was
as mentioned the control turnrd into an issue because a picked mostly the larger ones for control before i upsized them and non had sexed yet
most wait to show but in here i have just as much an interest in growing males as females
that being said alt of thing shuffled and there were only a couple side by side controls as seen in other pics and now the post is getting confusing because i was going to go back and label all the plant pic by number and reference them one at a time when i had a chance to but now they are all together
but then what seemed like a lack of interest i started treating other plants at dif stages so it ends up being more confusing to the reader when displayed
I will say this however the more i went through and was going to insert fix and change some things it has piled on more and more now it is no longer a simple attach a mod needs to edit it all and i'm not going to bother w/ it
that area there is for isolation stress testing and some selected breeding
Very rarely do i see many people even testing their work(let alone show some testing) in other than near perfect conditions let alone on an open forum showing what doesn't work or what does work like i had shared alittle here and there in the past this was set up for a what works and what doesn't work for people to actually learn from and maybe see pics well pics will constantly be scrutanized and badgered so video is the way to go apparently if i am already exposing this dirty little seceret of my life anyway on the net so maybe look for Skunky Smurff (two ff for copywrite on U-tube soon
I don't know many people setting up any grow to help show what "DOESN'T" or does work when it hard enough to get pics of any plants to begin w/ other than a few brave closets here and there and honestly it's been turned into enough of a mess i don't even want to bother w/ it anymore
So this is probably the end i will post on this will post a branch or two for final pics maybe but i'm not going at it anymore
I say this as a closer to all the peole that would sternly remark removing an leaf in any circumstance is bad..
as an example i would say thats possibly true but to each their own apparently laws of the universe and energy are by opinion
ie.how much energy your light provides how much energy is absorbed by plant how energy disipates as it penetrates and is absorbed and converted
intensity of energy according to the aproximation of source energy(all opinions and not calculatable data)
You don't know the plants true response the one damaged leaf left on could result in a continuation of stress hormones as example so it could actually damage the plant worse trying to fix the issue more than than the energy it provides or you might think it provides
yes a leaf is a solar collector but what if the leaf requires energy from other parts of plant because it doesn't recieve enough energy to sustain it's size alone???
point is you might not know for sure but that doesn't meen there isn't a clear mathmatical calculation for what has happened
people remove pop corn bud site often because they are "known" indoor more often of course due to penetration issues as being so much "less" productive it is a "waste" to grow
well i advise them to learn the limits of their lights garden and plants alittle more and learn how to make thoose once"popcorn" bud sites real bud sites and less and less popcorn
I am for learning how to grow them if you can't yet
I'm not smoking leaf I smoke bud so if i have to remove some leaf sometimes to grow more bud that's what i would look to do if i was others that weren't
Thats why canopy nets work so well they allow the leaf to be pushed and kept under for more uniform growth then it gets soooo wadded up underneath alot of undergrowth is removed because it is blocked by light and doesn't produce
in a perfect world outside yeah i would rarely remove anything the sun penetrates very evenly if in right conditions, if somebody doesn't have "perfect" growroom not many people have perfect conditions to go w/ so how do you work w/ what's best for your situation is the answer of what is better
in the end
Peace and Happy New Year SK
