Indoor Will this speed controller reduce noise?

Happy you like my seeds choices Rhyce. I remember smoking both Haze and Amnesia when I lived in The Netherlands, but never tried the Amnesia Haze. Would it make sense to do 3-4 at a time (in 3 gallon containers)? I have heard that Big Bomb Auto (from Bomb Seeds) can give crazy yields. I am not all into yields but if it is true that it could give me like 150-200 grams in a tent this size with a 250W HPS I would be happy to grow it on its own to give it place to fold out its wings. Would it produce more if I left it alone?

I like having a few going and if they tend to be on the short side four would be ideal imho. I've got a couple of Auto Bubble Gums that are 40+ inches tall and the two would fill that space comfortably. I like to do at least two of a kind and if they are small strains, four. With something that is supposed to yeild high, just do a couple at the most. Google around and look at some of the stuff people are getting with a single plant in a tent your size. I'm thinking of buying one tent of similar proportions just to do single selected specimens to see what I can pull off of them.

I run the same fan as you have purchased in a similar size tent 90.90.180 It is very quiet and more than adequate for your needs at this time. With regard to a fan controller and I see your funds are limited but, seeing as you are not starting for a few more weeks if you can afford this controller:

this I feel, will work well in combination with the fan and filter. I use the twin plug version and the temp probe is very accurate.


Which seedbanks are you looking at for your beans? Interesting list!

@Rhyce. At this point I am even thinking about moving everything into a proper closet instead - that way I can grow a few more plants but I am guessing I will need more than 250W HPS if I am growing like 6 plants at a time?

Thanks Mikey! I love this forum already. Actually I bought my seeds from http://www.worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com/ - they let you mix and match from a huge variety of banks, from one to unlimited seeds, which is nice if you like variety. Prices are not bad either as you have so many different varieties and banks. I defo suggest you guys check it out next time you want new seeds.

Any suggestions for good/favorite strains? I love heavy indicas as I have crazy insomnia problems. I only smoke during the day on my days off, where I like a nice sativa. I have never grown autos so I have no clue about the strains. I used to smoke a lot of Himalayan strains as I spent some time in India and brought back a lot of seeds. Besides that some Haze, Pineapple Express, Amnesia, Kush and seed-packed bud from a local farmer. Any suggestion are more than welcome as I will be putting in a new seed order next month.
