Heres another diy .. http://www.rollitup.org/t/cheap-and-effective-diy-water-chiller.453857/ Thought I would share this as I finally got around to giving it a try and man of man, it is the fucking bomb! Similar units have been described so I didn't invent it but thought I would post it up as it really does work well and only cost me around $150.

You basically use a dehumidifier and a cooling coil for making beer (wort chiller).
A dehumidifier works like an air con, using the phase change of liquid to gas and back again to get rid of heat. A dehumidifier works by passing air through a very cold radiator. The water in the air condenses and drips into a bucket.

forgot to put this up yesterday ive just insulated my res to see if i can keep the temps down didn't cost me nothing all plundered from work (with the bosses permission) overkill much ha ha

This will work great in the 55 rez you have ..i should make a few .. i have 30 +fans .. i can source thee chip amazon tec2728 i think . I check.. yet read the diy on using a humidifier i posted .. its working for a few .. temp at 67 70 constant[emoji109] [emoji33]

just a quick update ive been getting slight nute burn on the FE so have cut back my feeds to 1 ml per litre of advanced nutes coco bloom A+B and have dropped the big bud down to 1 ml per litre but have decided to add overdrive to the res at 1 ml per litre and see how it goes

King Peyote [emoji12] if you still want the onfo on cooling your rez. I can pull it .. its basically the same as thee amazon one thats $114 just you make these yourself.. sourcing parts .. no worries. Iam seeing more and more having this same rez cooling problem annoying besides costly ...
