Why does this happen everytime I get close to the finish line???
This comes down to the basics of gardening. My guess is over feeding. And now you have a nutrient lock out due to the excess nutrients in the soil. You probably feed every time you water.. There are a lot of variables and it's important that you try to understand the basic feeding process at some point, or this type of thing can continue to happen. 1st.. "Deficiency" doesn't automatically mean "use more".. Once you understand the role of calcium and magnesium, you'll see that very little of both are actually needed. 2nd.. Calcium and Magnesium are two different things! There is no such thing as cal/mag.. That's a product, not a deficiency.. 3rd.. Most new grower issues are caused by a lock out. When you have too much of one nutrient in the soil, it locks out other nutrients so they aren't available. I bet your soil has more than enough calcium and magnesium in it.. But it's probably locked out and not accessible to the plant.. Thus the "deficiency". Here is a chart I use.. Hopefully it helps... Basically.. Too much calcium can lock out magnesium.. Too much magnesium can lock out calcium.. Too much calcium and magnesium can lock out potassium.I have grown three strains to finish so far two of them did that, one did not. From what I have gathered it's a cal and/or mag deficiency. I have read that In flower especially late flower some strains want more cal mag especially under led.
I'm running two more of one of the two strains that did it. I will use a cal mag supplement this time and see what happens.
Maybe someone with more experience can confirm this or not as I am not certain. It's just the best I've come up with researching this problem.
This is so dead on! I have been preaching this when growing with our lights. The usual answer is toss more at it. It's all about balance and most Cal-Mg additions also slam you with so much unwanted N.This comes down to the basics of gardening. My guess is over feeding. I'd check the ppm of the run off. It's probably in the 1000's..

Is this happening all the way down the plant? Or just the tops? Why does this happen everytime I get close to the finish line???View attachment 1153668
