Here's my 2 cents bro I start all my plants off in solo cups and my medium of choice is Canna pro coco/clay pebble mix and up until there about say day 6 or 7 I start at an ec of 0.6 and going forwards in to early veg up to an ec of 1.0 ish .so all I'm saying is with autos being a bit fussy go easy on your food also if you've grown photo plants just grow them the same but lower amounts to run off and you should be golden

Fetigate isn’t that foliar feeding!! How do you do this to 20% run off or am I misunderstanding the term fertigate!!

Hello foliar feeding is not fertigateing foilar is spraying the leaves fertagatieng is watering the meduim run off is say 20% of what you put in.
your ec is to high for seedlings i start at 0.3EC seedlings water once a day as they get bigger up to 0.5 EC and feed twice a day and that is where i stay 0.5EC till end of grow

Fertigate simply means to water with nutrients, a hydro term.

Thanks for that dellboy,this is where it gets confusing you say 0.3 others say my dead mephistos were hungry fed 0.8 another thing they would be waterlogged if I watered like you mention without any runoff maybe I’ll add some perlite maybe this will help I’ll go with your advice when I feed later thanks again fella. As a footnote dellboy do you grow in pouches as these do dry out far faster than coco in pots, just a thought!

Hello i allways use perlite about 70coco 30perlite and i go seed to final pot i dont fck around repoting just more for me to fck up so keep it simple as possible. everybody has ther own view on how much to feed as diff nute companys have diff ec values i use green planet and dont need to feed at any higher ec as i did with canna nute line. As to the watering side of it i water my seedlings little and oftern for the first couple of weeks then just up the water as they grow allways keeping the coco wet never let in dry you treat it like hydro not soil when you think there is a good size root ball water to run off. The pot you use all so plays a big part in how you water i use rain science grow bags they dry out quiker so i can water more where as plastic pot will take longer to dry pot size all so plays a big part to big take for ever to dry back to small dry back to quick so you have to find which size suits your stile of growing and enviroment the trouble is what works for one person dont work for the next

How old were your Mephisto plants that you were feeding 0.8 ec also your coco won't get waterlogged if you have a good root system

Two weeks old after reading on this site that they need food sooner rather than later, they never developed a massive root system that’s why they is now dead lol if you refer to my photo plants I can water them three litres each, each day and cannot overwater, just runs off what’s not needed but they are massive plants, be easier possibly better in larger pots but I was trying something out big v small pots v yield thing.thanks for advice at tom

Hello you will burn the roots if ec is to high your meph plants looked bone dry and you will get a salt build up which will all so fck your roots if to high ec is used you can allways feed more with lower ec but you cant take it out if to high
