Indoor Which PH meter to choose?

Received the pH meter today and for now I'm quite happy with it, wetted the probe for half an hour and tested with 7.0 solution, then with 4.0 solution and was 100% factory calibrated :)

I got my bluelab ph pen out the box today to start usign on my new grow. Tested some tap water and it was 2.4 so either there's something seriously wrong with our water or I need to calibrate

Bluelabs comes with the EC calibrated but recommend to calibrate for pH. Enjoy the new meter, they are top notch quality in my opinion!

I agree. I picked both pens up in the States when I was there, cheaper than I could get them at home but still pricey..but you can't fault them for quality or longevity

I don't know if you do any soil growing Peteey but BlueLabs also makes a soil probe attachment that you can connect and stick directly in the soil for pH readings. I haven't tried it but have looked at it several times. Now that I grow TLO I don't worry about pH any longer but for someone using chem nutes that would be the bees knees. Being able to test soil directly.

Last fall i bought some used equipment from a local grower who was moving to a legal state. He tossed me a Bluelab PH pen and it shows on the readout it needs calibration, what do i need to purchase? I assume theres a cleaning and calibration kit.. or are there any lowbuck natural substances that do the same for penny's on the dollar?

This is what i've just found quickly so it will give you the right idea of what you need. You can get storage/hydration fluid and ph7 etc for calibration

Yes, they need to be calibrated pretty regularly. I like to do it every month. You will need a 7.01 solution, a 4.0 solution and if you want to check EC as well you will need the EC calibration fluid. You should be able to check BlueLabs website for the calibration instructions and it is pretty easy. Just push the button and put it in the fluid.
