Extraction Where's all the eth extractors?

Hey @pop22 just checked the website and its still active try kleenxtract or kleen xtract it is pretty pricey tho,....yes that makes sense about the water/chloro/proof thing,,I used to find the 99% iso at wamart but all they have lately is 91%(i think the're profiling us extractors) so i bought it to second run the bud that was first washed in everclear......I have heard of a method using ether which can be found at the auto parts stores as a product to get the water out of your gas lines/tank ,but i dont know anything about using it/the process,hmmm maybe ill do some research

I've made the decision that grain alcohol is the strongest solvent I will use. I wish CO2 extraction at home was affordable, but its not and unless a new process is conceived, it won't. I feel using hexane, butane, ISO, and other poisonous solvents, is as bad as taking manufactured drugs, and the dangers involved in the oil making process is not worth the risks. Just my thing though, I know many people use these processes.

i looked into getting some co2 £40 for 10kg.was told by the time I got it in the post there wouldn't be much more than 1kg left,and if there was nothing left in the box that's just tough shit...but it extracts a lot of plant matter to.
maybe we are just getting lazy.the likes of john berfelo and d420k are spending 4 hours dry sifting screening/carding separating trichs through 6 screens then some static electricity for the final clean.
I have the screens on a very small scale.but do I have the time or inclination hmm duno sometime.
saw an interesting vid of how much thc was left over in raw material after bubblebag extraction v iso v bho.but as he was wearing a white coat at the time so id need to watch it again.

I've done one dry ice run and I think that is a great process for a clean extraction! Mine didn't come out looking all that great but it sure worked well! And you get a lot! likely not as much as a solvent extract but you could always do a wash with 192 and winterize it!

Thinking of testing hash caps. Decarb and use 00 caps. Finding the right dose might be fun...........

Hey everybody !!! Just keeping things current since i extract often and i have a question for ya @pop22 ...The "stuff" that the coffee filter catches,is this good for anything? I have been saving it forever,i think it is the waxes and lipids,plus a little plant matter,i have heard it called moon dust but regardless of what it is called it will get you stoned(i tried it

once),but maybe it can be used in edibles or something,maybe you or another member has an idea,ive asked before but no responses..anyway thanks for stopping by and enjoy the newest pics,,The 2 jars is the "stuff" after it dries !!

Okay so i knew i saw a video on yootube way back where this guy is calling the filter stuff,moondust(at about 9:15 of the video) and he said its the waxes lipids and solids blah blah blah...He's saying to save it and smoke it..or put it in a pill...Is anybody else getting this "byproduct" as part of their extracting? in his video he is using 99% iso,but i get it using everclear..Is everybody else using the unbleached coffee filters to filter this stuff out !!! Anyway i thought this was good info to share with everybody,cause ive just been saving it..Peace out !!!

you could wash the filters withEverclear or other grain alcohol, then process it for tincture or evaporate the alcohol and have some thick oil. i've seen other people do that. Waste nothing!

So still in the process of extracting but figured I'd pot some pics

Pics show,1) decarbed last night then evthing set in freezer...2) evthing ready to go...3)in progress...4) awe shit,what's that,the baby bho tube,hell yes !!...5)..2 jars ready to evap,all the leftover bud will be ran in a gumby hash extract later on,only washed one time .11 more filters of moon dust for the jar,,...to be continued....
