Extraction Where's all the eth extractors?

okay im back with some pics,,everything i have is pretty low dollar P9210003.JPG P9210004.JPG P9210005.JPG pic one shows the 20 dollar hot plate,the small and bigger mason jars,filters,temp guage,pyrex,metal strainer,and (i know i need a new cake pan and lids,they usually only last about 4-8 runs),and the EC,,pretty basic stuff....pic 2 shows the waxes and lipids that the filter catches,this will get u stoned as hell too!!! i still havent found another use for it,maybe edibles??,pic three shows the leftover bud and there is still plenty of triches on it,i dont "double run" anything anymore because it causes the oil to become darker and the end product is more "planty",,what i do is save it all and do a "gumby" hash run,which i usually end up giving away
 
Oops,sorry !!! But see as how u have all the other buds for backup,you should be fine,that is an awesome cola,hope the short tutorial helped in some way,sounds like you already have most of the process down just a few tweaks here and there.im no expert but its a pretty easy process and a heck of a lot cheaper to do it yourself .. Cheers !!!

Always helpful to see other peoples methods. And yes definitely safety first. That nug weighs 45 grams at the moment so im guessing 14 when all is said and done. My hands are soo sticky so if it takes a while for me to respond please forgive me. =p

Right on brother. My girlfriend prefers wine. Doesn't like the taste of edibles doesn't like hash doesnt like vaporizing cannabis.. always asks me to roll her a joint ; wont learn to roll one . =p

At first i thought it was a deal breaker.. then i realized. ..more for me
 
A shout out to all the Women who support their men,mine loves all plants but mine( more for me too), she does however help me water,gives me general plant advice,helps me work through issues and find solutions,helps trim( big plus),and most importantly, she doesn't complain( too much,only about the smell),,,she supports me because I support her !!!!

Yea we have 2 kids one income so supporting her is a given =p. Teamwork for sure man. After i make butter she'll do up some apple chrisp or banana bread, chocolate chip cookies.. all with the cannabutter . And then doesnt eat any of it. Just like this oil i made today, practically had to beg for her to try it..she only compains about my enthusiasm of cannabis ...as in talking about it.. (hence why im now a part of this forum ) and the occasional electric bill.. but i pay that anyways so its just the sound of her own voice in that instance me thinks. Hah but for sure shout out to the ladies that put up with our asses.

Looking good lil,that should be enough to last till you start harvesting !!! I'm gonna skip running a batch this weekend since I already fell behind a "normal schedule" which would be : chop the bud on Monday/Tuesday(latest),,leave in Pyrex bowl to dry further before putting into freezer for minimum 24 hours to freeze,before the xtract process begins....anyway just wanted to mention my experience with decarboxilation prior to extracting :the previous two times I have put the chopped bud on a cookie sheet in the oven at 200F for 20-30 minutes,this is to further dry the material as well as activate thca to thcd,CBD,CBA ( or something),anyway..decarbing caused the finished oil to be darker than normal and have a slightly different taste,and leave a bit more residue in the rig..it did however change/improve the high a bit( just my thoughts tho ,as long as your happy with the finished product,there is no right or wrong,)
