Extraction Where's all the eth extractors?

I am set up for another run this weekend and got some bonus dry sift "type" hash/kief ,if things go right I can do a batch for the next four weekends in a row and still have time to take the g-baby fishing for her first time!!! Peace

Back with another Saturday Night Special !!! This time the buds have been drying naturally for three weeks,they were not oven dried or decarbed,I ran out of "clear" so this is where I started a light heat purge ,,all items were in the freezer for a minimum of 24 hours,,more coming soon

Well it's Saturday night again and that brings another run at the ole eth extract..a new tip from the saturation point of alcohol thread has me double running the eth thru the material once to see if the eth an be used more efficiently,I did a run last week in the saturation thread where the eth was used three times to rinse the material one time,I am still just using bud that's been drying in bowls for a month or so,let's get into the process changes

all the starting material,I was only able to clear one bowl which was not weighed,,filters presoaked

after the first run the eth don't look too green yet,material in bowl ran once

the eth consolidated into one jar to reuse,the small jars were topped of with fresh eth as necessary to cover the material

after the second run the material was put in the plastic bowl to drain the last of the eth which was kept separate

after all the bud was used there was a pile of dry sift "type" kief left

this is the finish of the "pull" ,so now I have the first run eth,the long soaked eth,the kief ,the moondust left in the filters,and material to run a second time later on

temp of water,remember don't rush it with high temps,it can burn off the terpenes ,slow and steady wins the race..

okay this last pic ...the "spidering "lines that look like cracks in the glass is actually the oil starting to pull/coagulate together ,I've. im into all kinds of extractions my friend! ive done Rosin,RSO,QWISO,BHO and Live Resin BHO so far... i just harvested my West Coast OG tonight and shes some FIRE smoke, i cant wait to run some of her!

Awesome bro,I have some of those seeds in the way!! Max back at ya for being into the extracts,I'm gonna give the live resin a try when the next harvest is ready!!
