Extraction Where's all the eth extractors?

Now that u have done that process,the wax/shatter qwet or qwiso should be quicker/less steps... there should be a badge for us extractors...Peace
 
It's been a while since I updated but tonight that changes..I have some first run eth and some second run ISO..here's the differences when the material is left wet for longer than necessary,,the ISO run includes tonight's eth leftovers and the leftovers from a few weeks back( they've been in the freezer) it's still in progress so more pics to come...

I didn't get to purge the ISO so it's in the freezer till tomorrow,however the ETH is finished and it finished nicely ambered and shatter consistency...here's a few pics..update tomorrow after I get outta work!!

After finishing the ISO extract I have a few pics of the finished product,remember ,this is second run,so it is darker,but it is still good smoke!! Each extraction process has its own flavor and the ISO is potent,it just tastes different,I do occasionally do ISO first run extracts but I haven't been able to get to the place that sells the 99% just a heads up tho if that's the route you wanna go,in Colorado the White Cap construction/industrial supply has the gallons for 22.00 usd,...on to the pics!! I have worked my way thru last seasons photo plants/buds,now I will continue extracting with all auto harvests,bud only ..Peace

What's going on everybody,I spent some time yesterday running some Wappa buds into some wax,not any new info on the process however I figured I'd document some Dry Ice Hash/Kief into wax...so,I used 15.26 grams of 73 micron and about the same of 160,shaken in everclear ,and strained thru a coffee filter.when it was all said and done,the return from each was about equal,,the starting purity of the dih doesn't matter because it gets the same "wash"and the same filtering,the 160 just leaves more "by product" in the filter...also this is more cost effective when using everclear (even adding the cost of the dry ice) because there is less material to wash.the process is easier and more time effective because the hash or the everclear doesn't need to be frozen because you won't be pulling chlorophyll from the plant material..since the weather is getting warmer I should be able to start running bi-weekly again,peace !!! The red mat is bud wax..the blue mat is the dih wax...

So running behind as usual,I did rinse and filter a ton of DIH and it is sitting in the freezer till tomorrow when I get outta work,I'll pick up again with the purge ,scraping ,and final steps ..here's a few pics for now tho,,I used 1tablespoon lightly packed to each small jar,add the EC ,shake and filter...Peace..the tiger managed to live another day...

Okay doing stuff during the week take a lil more time(days wise) than doing it on the weekends but,I did do all the evap and the final purge to lay it flat,,pics,enjoy

This stuff looks dark but that's because it's a pretty thick layer.....................
 
Sunday April 17, I am currently running more DIH into wax/shatter but just for verification and to share the results,I put the everclear and the DIH in the freezer for 24 hours along with the jars just to make sure if there is/was any chlorophyll ,I wouldn't
Pull too much out ,after filtering into the quart mason jars I did not see a difference in the color of the juice,it is currently heat purging ,and I will post
Some final pics on the finished product....
 
This is what I've finished for this weekend,the thicker the layer the darker it looks..I'll try and do another bud/flower run next weekend and I'll post that as well,if anyone ever needs

So I have about four ounces of bud set aside and drying for a grand extraction this weekend it'll prolly take three 750 ml bottles of clear to run that much.i also have a full plant of blue dream drying that is going straight to oil or edibles..I think the jars are multiplying when I'm not looking...,
