Ingredients listed as: ammonium nitrate and potassium hydroxide. I wonder if you just couldn't buy the dry powder and mixed that yourself. I noticed it costs about three times as much as rapid start by volume. But recommends about half the dose of Rapid start.
Like most hydroponic nutrients, I presume the reporting of N, P, and K values and sources is often just the beginning, with labeling often just being just what is minimally required for distribution in the US or other markets (which is essentially just the N-P-K data). For example, I vaguely recall Rapid Start having a proprietary (trade secret what it actually is/how it's made) kelp, other seaweed and/or algae base, with these sources for many 'natural' plant growth stimulant products and additives.
Any root growth stimulant product like Rapid Start is going to need more that just the listed simple N and P salts to be effective. If duplicating Rapid Start and similar products were as simple as just mixing some ammonium nitrate and potassium hydroxide, wouldn't we all know about that already, wouldn't there be a lot of such products with it part of every company's product lines. But this seems to be an area where there are actually relatively few products.
