When to start nutrients?

Cx horticulture.
i start off at your age and seedlings 0.6 ec as the other folks said never feed coco with just water even the tiniest bit of nutes is great

Thank you, everyone.
Plan is nutes wise.
Starting water 40ppm(truncheon) up to 150 ish with canna cal/mag.
Balance in base ultimate growth for coco(CX single fert) nutes and a something called regen a root (also h 20201010_133141.jpg20201010_133216.jpg20201010_133236.jpg20201010_133242.jpg20201010_133249.jpgave wilt guard, not sure how to use?). Could add mighty growth enhancer, but noticed dark green in leaves last go and its high in N and the cal/mag has N too.
Thank you everyone!!

Oops thats a mess, sorry

When you say from the start, do you mean after seedling first see light or after first real leaves?
I have only used water so far as the sprouted seed only went into the Coco yesterday but was going to use the Canna Start once they show their little faces in the next couple of days (well hopefully they will)
I germinate in rock wool starter cubes using 150PPM nutrients with Kelp, so technically I feed before they start:woohoo1:
1/4 Strength 300PPM week 1 , 50% 450PPM week 2 and add 10% each week until slight tip burn and back off 10%.

Thanks grobros!! Feel like a new mother!! Lol. :yoinks:

First week ,i feed at about 25% strenght and gradually increase it.Never water only.PH around 5.8
You're using Cal-Mag too?
And regarding "25% strength," keep in mind that with many base nutes the recommended full dose is about double the auto strain dose (the top-end auto dose is about 1/2 the top photo dose). . If there is any doubt, just less less.

But in my view, surely weed seeds can grow in fertile soil, coco or any other medium. Just like in nature, seeds should have no problem growing in fertile soil. Our weed seeds are rather robust, and will probably grow well from the very start with any base nutes ≤50% strength .
