hi guys and gals.ok i took sum seed from bag weed.and to my wonder three are auto flowering plants.i read here on this site that you dont give autos veg ferts,ok so were can i find ferts with NO veg ferts.now my girls are three weeks in flowering and all i have given them is plain water.and at the store i went to (homedepo) and i found some ferts with 10.52.10 and another 15.30.15 so i got them both, now can i give my babys anyone of these.i should i just keep with the plain water......:crying:

Welcome to AFN! Most people here do give veg ferts. I use 1/4 strength veg nutes weeks 2-6 then use bloom nutes week 4-10. That is a loose schedule, sometimes veg nutes can go to week 7 or 8 and sometimes you could start flower nutes in week 3. Weeks 3-7 they get both veg and bloom nutes. It really depends on the lifespan of your auto. :toke:

i agree. it varies on the plant.. keep an eye on the plant growth

Also those are some rather strong ferts to use with an autoflower. If you do decide to use them, I recommend flushing at least every 3 weeks, to avoid salt build up.

thanks. i was wondering about the plant food i got.but its that or some stuff i had when i tried hydro.botanicare, pureblend probloom, progrow, and liquid karma.so now its just a matter of witch two use. thanks again

ok thanks for the input

Generally speaking, those that don't feed veg nutes are using a soil mix that contains a high nitrogen amendment like composted manure, worm castings or guano. If your soil doesn't contain a significant amount of a high N source, then you should be supplying some, starting at 2 weeks. What you have is good for flowering and can be used from about week 5 on. In the mean time you need something that is higher in N, like a 10-5-5 or something similar. If you're limited to the big box stores, look for some Better Gro Orchid Plus. I don't know about Home Depot, but Lowes does have it.
