Ok mate i am back my closet height is 8ft width 4ft length 4ft i would like to know how many auto will grow. In that much space and i will like to grow them in soil pot size 2 till 3 gal i think for my space. A small over head light will be best and some light on the side for the side growth . And i will use a fan for the heat in there and i will like to use some type of Reflector on the walls. what kind of autoflower do you think will be best for my space you had say mi5 do you still think that. Did i format better this time so what ever info you can help me with would be of help. And thanks for your time for even replying back to me. I went back and look over my on post and you guys was right with everthing you said.

Okay, so you've got 16 sq. ft. of grow space. Using 3 gallon pots you could easily fit 12 pots, with 2 gallon, 16 pots. However you will need a lot of light to fill that space. The general rule of thumb is a minimum of 50 watts per sq. ft, 60 being ideal. Using HPS you would need a minimum of 600 watts but 1,000 would be best. With CFLs, at least 800 watts. With LEDs, I'd say four of something like the Blackstar 240s. You can either paint the walls white of line them with mylar or Panda film for good light reflection. You will also need an exhaust fan and a carbon filter for the odor. Mi5 is a great strain to grow but with that much space you could easily grow several different strains and give yourself a little variety.

Thanks so what is a few top auto strain that has high yield . And the walls is all ready white I will use the hps 1,000 would i need like light on the side for the side growth. Are the hps will be all the light i need. Will go with the 3 gal 12 pot what soil would you use. Should i use feminized seed. Last thing what is a good seed bank to use so i want get rip off and that will ship to the u.s

i would go with the 600 and 3g pots to be safe just for heat issues alone and MI5 is a good strain but 1000w only if your extraction is top notch (6"/8" duct with massive flow) as summer will be a big issue
with either hps sidelighting will not be needed
dr chronic and attuide seedbank i think ship to the us and i have used them both
short stuff and joint doctors are good breeders or you could try the e-shop here
go with fem if you do not want to make your own seeds i would get regs on your first grow

A 1,000 watt HPS is all you should need for that space. Just know that they put out a lot of heat so I'd advise getting a cool tube type of reflector as they are the most efficient at removing the hot air.

I grow soil less using Pro Mix HP. Sunshine Mix is also good, or a combo of Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Happy Frog. Besides Mi5, Auto Assassin, Onyx, and Jet47 have all given me good yields. Anything from Flash seeds would be a good bet, except the super autos, they are best outdoors. Fems or regulars are really your choice. With regs you can make your own seeds but do require starting more plants to get the number of females you need. I like to use regs but I've got a separate veg area where I can start them so I'm not taking up my main grow areas with males.

I always got my seeds from Dope-Seeds but they have stopped shipping to the US. Many here are now using The Attitude or Herbies with good results.

Thanks i will go with the 600 and it's getting cold over here. I do not want to cut any holes are anything so what else can i do for the air flow. And i dont want to make my own seed i am not that good yet

You will need to vent the heat out of your grow area otherwise it's going to get too hot in there. You also need to be bring fresh air in so will need to cut a couple holes, one for incoming air and one for exhaust.

You will have to pull the heat out, no way around that. Otherwise you're just setting yourself up for a fall. Even if you went with LEDs or CFLs for less heat you still need to be bringing in fresh air for good plant growth.

Ok so how big do i need to cut 6/8 for the air flow what if i leave the door open and get a few exhaust fan. I might just need to shut the hell up and listen and just cut the holes
