Top man thank you. These cob lights look fantastic. I've found a 600w (6light holes) for 120£ delivered (about 150 dollars) which is £40 more than the normal LED I've mentioned here. HOWEVER, I need more assurance and research on it as it's been reduced from £500 to £120.. Which suggests to me they ain't that good...however it's still to be seen
Here are the specifications ;

Would this be too big and powerful for a 80x80x160cm(1.3m2) tent?
Extraction will go in to tent in a couple of weeks anyway it's not a problem at the beginning and I like to give the plants as much fresh air as possible to start.
Is it good to germinate the seeds in the pots they will finish in, or a small pot to start with? I like to put them in the window when it's sunny to germinate them give them the best light possible! Or is that not a good idea?
ALSO...(F**KING LOADS I NEED TO KNOW LOL) what can I do to keep the plants short because I don't have a lot of room... As I'm a bit of a novice, my first plant was about 80cm tall and the second (same strain) got to about 170cm tall and I don't know why, although I think it was a sativa pheno but I wasn't complaining!
Any tips to keep short and maximise yields?
Appreciate the help and guidance guys as I have no where else to ask but want to give it a go.
Thanks!
