10 days on and all good I think... ...a few leaves turned brown near the bottom (I removed them) but the plant looks happy to me

Pics are hard to see but from what I can see it looks like the tips of the leaves are curling up and inwards - symptom is called Canoeing .... If so that is a sign your lights are too close ..... Back lights off 12” and see if new growth exhibits any curling and then you can slowly adjust up or down from there .... BTW the leaves curl inward to shade themselves from the light .....

Organics you have the right idea but I’m not sure your soil mix is up to speed - check out this recipe https://growingorganic.com/soil-guide/coots-soil-mix/

I had done some research and moved the light up a little, as you correctly say It was too close. no more "canoeing " now.

The yellowing lower leaves I am fairly certain was due to Magnesium deficiency. I have since started adding Magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts) to watering and foliage spray

Since I mixed the soil, I have now started to add Worm tea, molasses, Epsom salts, kelp foliage spray, and a special compost made by local weed growers. There is no list of ingredients on the compost but It smells like it is full of good stuff (including I believe bat guano) The directions from the local compost makers was 1 handful once a week after 4th week. but this is not very precise, and I think perhaps my hands might be smaller than theirs....so have started to add more.

there is one small thing I am not sure about on a newer plant (amnesia Auto) see photo..... a strange pattern on some of the leaves??? what kind of deficiency might this be ?

Hum not sure whats up with that strange pattern .... Have you given her anything besides water, if so discontinue that and just water until you find the answer - I just know about lights from experience- have not had that pattern ..... good luck!
