What happens to fully reversed female if allowed to live?

Yes, the first are often duds:) Just keep at it. My last reversal they were all duds though... I was irate when that happened. Tried to crush the pods over female flowers but nothing happened. Not sure if this was strain specific or I made an error somewhere along the way. I was told after that one should switch to flowering nutes much earlier when trying to reverse, when the plant shows pods but nowhere near developed. That is what I did with my current one. Crossing my fingers.

I know what you mean about weird looking first flowers. They look like claw hands or something haha!

Best of luck to you!

Good Karma your way!

:karma Cloud:

Any new flowers for ya yet Treeman? My White Widow is doing the "claw hand" thing right now too. Frustrating to watch the pod split and then that freaky thing shows up haha! Hopefully soon.

She/He is a clone and her mother isn't nearly ready for pollination yet so the longer flowering time is really working out in my favor... Assuming I don't get all duds like the last time.

I don't get it, this will be my 3rd reversal. The first one was shockingly right on par with regular males. Pollen everywhere. The last one was nothing but dried up stamens. Like I said I switched to flowering nutes early with this plant but seeing these claws is bringing back bad memories...

Was out of town, just got back tonight. Appears to be all claw type male flowers. I dont see any pollen. This is an outdoor plant and we usually have a breeze/wind so maybe if there is pollen it is blowing away? There are a lot of male flowers on this plant, but i had backed off spraying it as much for the last week or so, but Im going to start aggressively start again, 3 times a day, to just a few of the top branches to see if that makes a difference. I agree, it is frusterating!

Balls I picked off seem to be producing some pollen. Not a lot but some at least. Here is a picture of my reversed Sour Bubbly now.

Heres the girl, 24 Carat, that has been getting some action(hopefully)!

if they are not dropping much pollen you probably stopped spraying a little too soon. im not sure if it will help to start spraying again or not. next time dont stop until the flowers start opening and dropping pollen.

IMG_1925.jpgIMG_1926.jpg Hundreds of flowers, but little to no pollen. Im not sure if Im going to get any seeds out of this or not now. Female should be showing signs of seeds but I dont see any swollen pods on her at all... Really disappointing...

My last reversal the pods didn't fully open. I took them as they fell off the plant and put them into a grinder with a screen that I don't use anymore. I let the flowers dry good and then carefully pounded the grinder screen on a hard surface. This is what I got from it after a couple days:

Look at the anthers. If they are brown and dried up it's game over. That's what happened to me the time before this. Got absolutely nothing from those bananas... This time I was more fortunate.

Inspect those pods!! :)

Best of luck!

I wish the seed dealers or someone would sell pollen, Im assuming its not 'illegal' in the US. More similar to spores than seeds really. Looks like Im going to be screwed for next summer now.... :Bad Luck:
