What happens to fully reversed female if allowed to live?

Truthfully for me at least I just leave it run all night. In the morning the rods look like hell but I have the sparkles in the beam just fine. I decant the sediment off the bottom and into the spray bottle. You want to start the spraying as soon as preflowers present themselves.

Edit: The guy who taught me all this (who is not longer on this site I just found out) was adamant that you change the whole plant and doing a partial reversal would not work well. I have never tried any partial reversals so I don't have any working knowledge of it...

Here is something interesting. I started thinking, and maybe the problem is my CS. More specifically, the way Im making it. Everywhere I have read that, the lower the voltage you use, the better quality (IE smaller particle size) CS you will get. That is why I have been using a 5v converter instead of doing the 9v battery technique. I decided to make a batch with 3 9v's chained together, to see if there was a difference in the final product. Using 27v vs 5v, the same PPM CS is MUCH lighter colored and also lights up more when shining a light through it. Here are some pictures for comparison. Should I be using the lighter colored CS 27v instead? Both are 20ppm btw. Same light, same distance from camera, one in 2qt jar and other in 1qt tho. Im thinking the brighter light would mean larger particles, which SHOULD be worse for reversal I would think, right?

Hey treeman nice pics. The C.S. I make is clear. I think the smaller particles is what you want to use. Here is the voltage of my generator.C.S. Gen 001.jpg

Do you use an air pump/stone? That helps keep the wires cleaner, as well as aerate the solution. It also helps with keeping the cs clear instead of amber.

This laser is much more powerful than a regular red one. This stuff didn't change color over time, despite being kept on an exposed shelf with no special care to stop light from getting to it.

Didnt use an airstone, did stir it occasionally tho. Neither batch I made was clear at all...

There is a good chance a small air pump (~10 gallon) and an air stone (all under $15) would clear that up for you....

See what I did there?

I have an air pump, will start a new batch and let you know how it turns out.

Just my two cents, I have always used an airstone and pump. Comes out clear every time. Don't get too concerned with the scum that forms on the bottom. It's heavier than the water and stays on the bottom, so you can decant the CS right from the top. You will be really happy with the aerated CS, I guarantee :)

I was under the impression that in order for CS to be effective you had to reverse the whole plant. Im a newbie so I could certainly be wrong

I have read that its suggested to reverse the whole plant, but also people claim to be successful reversing a single branch. I tried a branch, but started late and it was a big struggle. I think, if you want to reverse a branch, timing is critical. If you wait until the plant is actively flowering its really hard, need to start spraying before it really gets going so you get some balls initially, but keeping it reversed is probably hard also. Thats just a theory but I havent tested it yet.
