What factors affect humidity in a grow room? I have a small cabinet that i grow in and i'm trying to optimise the environment in it because at the moment my RH is low, the cab measures about 45cm(18in)x45cm(18in)x80cm(31in). It has 2x80cm pc fans for outtake and 1 for intake. I use 6x30w CFLs for lighting and also it is kept in the garage so its quite cold in there at the moment.
I've just started my 4th grow and i potted the newly cracked seeds last night, when the lights are off i'm getting 50-60% RH but with the lights on, the temp and humidity this morning were reading 25C and about 25%RH (readings taken from the top of the pots), the lights are about 8inches from the top of the pots. What can i do to get the RH up bearing in mind i dont have a lot of room?
