I think it's good to share what works for you. I'm always wary of people who say their way is the ONLY way. Growers will probably dispute defoliation for years to come and I don't necessarily think there is a right or wrong way, it all depends on the person, growing environment and the strain of plant. No need for apologieswow, holy shit, wtf.
first off, sorry for my explanation,i did not lollypop this plant. it does look like it I guess.
Second sorry for saying I stripped her naked. what I meant was I did take leaves off the top and middle sections and did remove some lower limbs over the course of over a month and if need be,this late in flower I will continue to supercrop and remove some leaves if I think it will help.
This was not done all at once, this plant is 70 some days old.
now after 1 month of a plant that wasn't a ft high and thickly covered in hand sized leaves, that's when I really started removing leaves.
Now say what you want but every time I removed some leaves within 2 days other leaves had moved around and a growth spurt.
I understand its supposed to stress the plant but what I have seen is growth spurts instead.
Almost all those branches have started growing scince I did my defol.
I'm sorry for misleading anyone here, that is why I said I'm done here, I am new, only growing for 4 years so I have come to the conclusion I should just shut up.
I did not mean for this thread to get so heated.
Don't know whats right or wrong but at this point- I don't care, this works for me, I shall just shut my mouth and do what I do until I learn more.
I'll take my 8 oz's and be happy, its better than the 3 I might get if not touched.
just my noobie opinion !!
