What dehumidifier to lower rh 15-20% in 32x32 tent?

I am growing 4 auto plants with 2 in veg and 2 in flowering in a 32x32 tent. I have a 240w kingbrite led quantum board on 24/0 with the ac infinity 6" fan with filter on there. I have the fan on the low setting and I would rather not have to turn that up to try to lower the rh. The rh is now around 60% but I want to lower that to around 40 for the flowering. I am looking at this dehumidifier.

Do you think that dehumidifier would lower the rh like 15-20%? What dehumidifier would you recommend?

I bought that exact dehumidifier and it barely dropped the RH by 5%. It just can’t absorb enough moisture in relation to the humidity being produced. I had a similar problem to you, I just couldn’t get the RH down. I discovered my problem was that my extractor was venting in to the room my tent is in. So the humidity being sucked out was just building the humidity in the room, which then in turn got sucked back in to the tent! I moved my extractor pipe to a window which was just open about 2cm which allowed the humid air from the tent to go outside and the room humidity and tent humidity dropped significantly. I see you said you’re venting in to the closet (albeit with the door open), so humid air from the extractor is still filling the closet, then out in to the room. The air around your tent, in the closet is probably just as humid as the air in the tent, and is just being sucked back in the vents as the extractor sucks it out. Maybe put an rh meter outside your tent, in the closet near one of the intake vents, and see what Rh is being sucked in? That would at least let you know if that is part of the problem.

If it is causing the problem, and you can’t move your extractor pipe out of the room some how, you could try connecting a condenser box for a tumble dryer to the end of the pipe to try and capture some of the moisture before it gets in to the room. Not sure how effective it would be, but it’s a thought

Thanks. I think I would try 1 of the dehumidifiers in the tent then in the room outside the tent to find the difference on there.
