What are the sizes of trellis net holes you would recommend for autoflower scrog?

I am new to growing. I have found that lst gets a lot harder when the plant gets bushy. I have broken limbs and leaves on the plants trying to lst in a small tent and I do not want to take the plants out of the tent. I am looking at the scrog. I looked up trellis nets online and there were a few different brands and hole sizes for the net. What would you recommend? I have a 32x32 tent with 4 total plants in it but only 2 of the 4 plants would be in flowering and using the scrog net so it would likely be over half of the tent for it on there.

I've been told specifically to get the 3.5 inch hole nets, and specifically to avoid the 5" and 6" hole nets.
I don't personally have scrog experience but was asking around that very question in prep for a scrog run soon. Those nets do exist on Amazon fairly easy to find, the nets on eBay don't always say the hole size lol.

Hydrofarm 3.5 Trellis netting

I was advised to search for "3.5 trellis netting", and end up with something like this: it's gonna be too big overall but I was told they can be cut to size or just the extra tucked down one side and used [in [future grows:

My plants started flowering and decided to install a trellis to help support my buds. I used a 6" since i started late figuring it would be harder to pull them through 3" squares.

Thanks. I may look into that kind of net. What are those bars you have in your tent to put the fans on in the tent on there?

Well the bars are from an old Gazebo that i cut, drilled and attached with beam clamp using 1/4-20's. I attached beam clamps to the fans also cause the clip-on function was hokey. Once this grow is done im gonna build an adjustable cage using Uni-strut so i can attach shelves for humidifiers and such.

One thing I did learn about bars, is not to use regular ol cheap PVC pipe, they give off toxic gasses over time when exposed to harsh light and heat. :( My plants did very badly when I had a PVC cage in there. Wood dowel rods is an option that'll last a couple/few years before they get funky.

Thanks. Do you lst and scrog or only do the scrog? What day do you usually start tucking the stems in the scrog net on there?

I prefer using the 3" holes verse the 5"/6", it gives you more options when training a plant.

I wouldn't scrog with that few plants in a small tent, just LST. I'm assuming your light doesn't cover the outer edges of your tent as well as the middle. You'll get better results rotating each plant 180 degrees once at midday so that each side gets a half day of intense light along with a half day of less intense. When you scrog with 4 plants in the tent, even if two are not, the two scrog plants will both have two sides that see a lot less light.
