DIY Wetwoods // DWCR Build

Nicely done.
I cut a hole in the bottom of my netpot, and built a 'tube' of hydroton for the Root!t sponge to sit on top of. Gives a nice clear path for the taproot to get to the water without having to navigate the hydroton.

I used a hot-melt glue gun to stick the hydroton together.
My current grow, I have a tap root already in the water at day 3 by doing this.

Will soon see how well this goes kinda shitting myself with DWC first time n all that, so i think i will be a bit more active on my new thread so any issues are spotted a bit quicker.

No need to be shitting it tbh.
As long as you have a good pH pen and ppm/EC meter you are good to go.
I used cheap fleabay ones for my first grow. Replaced them with a Bluelab Growers' Toolbox and everything is hunky dory now.
The ppm and EC meters are the items you must not try to save money on.
The readings plus the chart I linked before make it relatively easy.

So never used sm90 or dutch pro before. Anyone got a feeding schedual and when should i use the sm90?

Currently they are not even through coco yet so would like to have this all sorted before hand.

Cheers ww

Funnily enough I have been eyeing up these exact same totes/containers for a rdwc build. How sturdy/tough are they up close? They are described as being quite tough. Are you happy with them?
