So. Can you only use the tea on non synthetic neuts? Such as dutch pro , canna etc? Obviously i dont want to change on this grow but for next if cost is much less.
I am using it with Megacrop and it doesn't get any cheaper than that tbh.
Due to the beneficials assisting in the uptake of nutrients, I am currently on a fraction of their recommended dose (though I do have to supplement it with CalMag Pro due to having COBs)
I have 2 plants currently running - each with their own reservoir and I change the res every 7-10 days.
My girls are 27 days old at the minute and I have used a total of 32g and 38g for the plants - that is 3 full feeds.
Each RDWC system is approximately 38 litres until the tap roots get out of the net pot, and then it's 35 litres after that.
For clarity:
Seedstockers BCN Critical XXL
First fill: Megacrop 8g, CalMag Pro 6g, Sweet Candy 4g (in 38 litres)
1st change: Megacrop 12g, CalMag Pro 6g, Sweet Candy 4g (in 35 Litres)
2nd change: Megacrop 11g, CalMag Pro 5g, Sweet Candy 4g (in 35 Litres)
Dinafem Critical+ 2.0
First fill: Megacrop 8g, CalMag Pro 6g, Sweet Candy 4g
1st change: Megacrop 16g, CalMag Pro 8g, Sweet Candy 4g
2nd change: Megacrop 14g, CalMag Pro 10g, Sweet Candy 4g
The drop in Megacrop for both plants in their second fill was due to the leaves being too dark and a slight Nitrogen toxicity. The Critical+2.0 though is very calmag hungry, hence its' increase.
Based on this slow increase in nutes, I expect to be at about 20g to 22g for flowering, with another 4 or 5 res changes.
That will work out at a maximum of about 150g of megacrop per plant in total.
The Megacrop cost €10 for 750g. That is 4 or 5 plants for €10 of Megacrop (the Sweet Candy is not 100% necessary, and I will also be reducing Megacrop in flowering, but replacing the reduction with Bud Explosion in order to keep the Nitrogen low, but increase the P and K).
The greenleaf
Nutrient Calculator shows that I should be on about 37g per reservoir at this stage, so I am running at about 1/3 strength, which I believe is mostly due to the beneficials from the tea, with no need for the SM90.
