Day 17 - new res bubbling ready for change at weekend.

I fancy doing some training on these girls, should i let them get a bit bigger or is now a good time to start?

Dam looking good! I waited until the third node started to tie my babes down. At that point they had already started the side branching and I found it easier to direct them up to the light. I didn't want to lose a side node because it wasn't developed enough to reach up after bending. Just my take and it has seemed to work out well for my girls. It looks like one of yours is starting to grow the side branches now. I would wait but that's just me. Girls are looking good though. I'll tag along of you don't mind :pass:

Welcome aboard @Illini4life
Cheers really impressed with them, res change this weekend.

Looking good.
I noticed your pH in one of the pots was 6.5 - did you get that fixed?

AFN was down for me for a few days the cloudflare had an issue, but it had been flucuating yestarday it had shot upto 6.7ph, i added some ph down to the pot just until the res is changed later today.
what does it mean when the ph rises that much so quickly? does it need more neuts or is it just a res change needed? water going down, ec same, ph raising. do i go same as yourself on 1/3? as they have 1/4 at the moment.

Check the chart I posted earlier.
Water falling, EC static and pH Rising is good (almost perfect) and is normal behaviour.
Just use some pH down to get it to about 5.8 and repeat when(if) it rises to over 6.3 again.
Do not increase your nutrients unless the plant looks too pale and the EC starts changing.

Try not to add the pH down directly to the reservoir - dilute it first with a few hundred ml of water or it can react badly with the nutrients in the reservoir (flocculation).

Yeah noticed chart said normal behaviour just didnt expect such a high jump.

Familys out so time for res change, thats the bit i wanted to know so when they go reap pale change res to higher neuts

Not so much 'real pale'. More 'paler'
And do not increase by much when you DO increase. Only go up by 5% to 10% at a time and then monitor any changes for a few days.
In reality though, the pH/EC/Water level fluctuations are your REAL guide. The colour is just a quick visual guide, but getting the colour right means that your nutrient levels are in the right ballpark.
Also, no need for a res change JUST to increase the nutes slightly. Just add the nutes to the res.

Boradan your like a crutch mate appreciate it.

Still lights out so heres how they look get better pics later.
added more clay pebbles.

Nl+bb 5.9ph 0.5 ec

Boradan ment to ask you yestarday, whats the perfect or guidlines for EC? last res was 0.7 this one was 0.5

There is no perfect EC really. Just the EC that the plants need at that particular point in their life.
All plants are different unless you are running clones.
In my previous grows, I had 4 plants in the same RDWC system and had to try and strike a balance with nutes. 1 plant was perfect, one had big CALMAG issues and 2 were suffering from Nitriogen toxicity. This is why I changed to 2 separate systems for this grow.
If your plant looks good regarding it's colour, no deficiencies or toxicity issues, and the EC/pH/water level are working well in tandem, then you have the perfect EC for your plant.
