The root cause. The roots can’t grow in these shitty cubes.
I’ve done this..
And poked a hole through, tap root is right next to the hole at the bottom so hopefully it’ll be problem solved.
Now I’ve pulled apart one of these sponges I’m amazed at how dense they are. It’s rubbery sponge (fankyoo vermuch) and there’s about 30mm before the root can get thru.
Absolutely Fookin useless!

Yeah they’re thinner at the sides mate, cutting roots go that way.. it’s gotta be a seriously aggressive seed to penetrate an inch of that shit tho.
