New Grower Wedding glue, DIY light & box, arduino controlled, DWC, Canna aqua

Hi, today 2 updates

1) New fertilizer in my reservoir. Tips of leaves vere a little bit yellow. Looked like tipburn. Also Ph went up to 6.5. So i decided to replace it. New one is EC 0.9, Ph corrected to 5.4. Temp 19Celsius (66f). Waste sollution was used to irrigate my vegetable  .

2) Much more exciting news!! I believe I found reason why my arduino has frozen last time. Today morning it was frozen again. I foundt hat wires from some periferies are touching themselves by unisolated parts. Yesterday I moved some sensors so I might pull some wires to them.
Such a stupid mistake!!! So I isolated all wires by electrical isolation tape and hope there will be no more problems!

Glad that you found "the bug"! And that it's an easy fix. Sorry to read that it killed the plant. That hurts. :-(

Day 28 update
Hi,

day 28 update. Ph was going up to 6.5, so i recharhed my pH perfect capsule. It was in use only 6 weeks. It
was in 80l reserwoir although it is aimed to 380l.

Tomorrow I will switch to final container (80l - 21gal) and hope there will be no more pH issues. It will be 80l (21gal) of grow sollution, i think last grow sollution for this plant.

Plant grew nice, nearly full space is filled, still under 60w blue light!!! It also showed first white pistils. Also tipburs are aparrent. Hope there will be no more.

Final reservoir
Hi,

I put flower in final 80l (21gal) reservoir. Recharged perfect ph capsule. Grow fertilizer, EC 0,9 pH corrected to 5,7.

reservoir is coverred by styrofoam. Its shape isnt circular, and is bigger than reservoir, so I can move it to obe side and have acces to my sollution.

Pretty sure I have posted them here and there on this site before :smoking:, but here are 3 variations from the initial Mars ll700 to the current one.
10 CLU048-1212 using the mars drivers @ .6amps

up and running
convert from mars700.jpg

2nd rebuild using a meanwell driver max 1.050amps needed the fans to keep temps down at higher amps...

current iteration, using a massive cooling block, with 6 Clu048-1212 cobs in this pic, (now have 8 clu48-1212's on there) I switch and change the wiring as I need more light, less light, some extra red for flowering etc.

i have also removed the driver and put it outside the tent as its bloody hot this summer and cooling the tent isnt easy. ;-)

And all thanks the guys on this site, extra thanks to BigSm0 who gave some great 1 on 1 info.

Oh and this is one of my starter lights, 2x Clu048-1212's on one of the mars cooler plates (keep reusing that mars 700 stuff) abluer spectrum for veg and using a mars driver @.6amps

Citizen clu048-1212 https://ce.citizen.co.jp/productse/led_category/detail/COB_Version6

2x 2700k, 6x 3500k, 2x 5700k... the blue on the small starter light, 3500k through main veg and flower, additional red when flowering.
the big lamp can run, 4/6/8 cobs @ upto 1.050 amps, currently using 4x 3500k @ .525 amps for 4 seedlings, I can ramp up the power as they grow and then add more cobs as they fill the space,.6 cobs at about 75% seems to be the best for flowering, 6/8 cobs on full power is too much for my small tent. :smoking:

Hi,

only short update today.I switched to big light today 3* Vero 29, 3000k 90CRI @1050mA. PPFD is cca 850-900. Ph is 6.2, water temp ok. So everything runs well.

@Corum59 Good job, love it. You wrote you can add more cobs - you have more drivers?
