Hey Roasty, big thanks for this thread and nice WW. I'm trying to learn all I can about GBD's SS. I tried it last grow, everything good (my BT-36", SH and SS good also) until flower, then leaves started turning. Being kind of a Noob, could'nt really reel um back. Have some leftover KIS soil I'll try and top dress for next grow. Where did you get hydrated lime and what kind?

Just about every garden center around here has it, Hi-Yield brand seems to be most commonly sold. It's a soil sweetener for plants that like higher ph. Adds calcium too, I am just not sure if it throws the balance out of whack. I figure I'm adding back into the RO water some calcium, which was removed in the RO process. Used it with OPM with some success last grow.

Update day 42ish, 2 days ago. She is looking hungry, so I fed her some OPM and GO calmag. I checked the runoff water that went in 6.5ish and came out somewhere north of 7.5, wtf? I figured if anything the ph would be low, so next few waterings/feeds will be at 6.0ish. Bottom half of her is a nice green, top half looking yellowish. She's flowering well despite. Looks like the farthest rear branch decided to be dominant.

Yeah sorry, I barely have time to water these days. She has yellowed up severely, I've done all I can as far as ph goes, but she doesn't want to uptake any N or Mag or both. Buds seem to be growing still, despite. And her neighbor keeps trying to take her light, damn boosh. I'll try and get a pic posted this weekend.

No worries. Hadn’t seen you around and hoped all was well. Some of these ladies are just a little more temperamental. Organics makes for unparalleled smoke IMO but more challenging for sure .

Update day 65ish, probably 12-15 days left. Looking pretty haggard, but she don't need to hold on much longer. Pretty frosty despite my mistreatment, hopefully she still has some swell in her.

Buds look very nice Roasty! We don’t smoke the leaves. Pretty epic frost . Looks like her roommate will be thrilled to see her finish .

Yeah should be some quality smoke, she just looks miserable compared to roomie on Mega Crop nutes, same age. I'll figure this out eventually.

I’ve had plants look worse then that come out just fine. So your liking the mega crop too. I’ve been using for a couple days now and the girls seem to love it.
