Happy 4/20 all!

Hows about an update, day 35 and she is really experiencing some explosive growth. Super bendy branches that are just starting to harden, super easy lst. Been bending the 3 tops I have now, to let the lower branches catch up. She's shaping up nicely.

Yes but photo's can be cloned, which is a huge advantage. One seed can grow a mountain of identical buds. But for speed you can't beat autos, especially with an Airdome.
Both airdome plants I got going (WW and GWK) have possibly the biggest fans I've ever seen. Thats a good reserve of nutes for when I eventually eff this up.

I'm very much still learning, and even a blind squirrel eventually finds a nut.

Kidding aside, this girl is doing great, I'm just worried about having to feed her soon, that seems to be where things get wonky in my grows.

Went back to look at my diary for my 5 gallon Mephisto Double Grape grow, and best I can figure, I should have started supplementing with additional nutes (either organic amendments or regular salt-based) during week 7 Day 42 to Day 49. Organic nutes should have been closer to Day 42 and salt-based (non-organic and quicker to see the results) closer to Day 49. Just thought I would share my current thinking and planning for my next grow. I used a soil with worm pooh and gbd ss mix in a 5 gallon airpot.

I have experienced exactly that on my last few organic grows. I won't switch to salts, I'm looking for the best possible terps over yield. I have instant organic tea on hand, that I found last grow is very acidic when using RO water. I found adding 1/4 teaspoon of hydrated lime per gallon into the water first, brings the ph in range after adding the tea powder. I can see she might be getting hungry at day 38 today, but new growth is usually lighter/yellowish anyways. I should consider feeding before the deficiencies set in. However I loaded this pot up strongest yet, so maybe I should wait for signs of hunger. Thanks for stopping by, and sharing.

I’m seriously impressed with the vigor and structure of your WW. Thanks for keeping the microscope on her for us. I looked back in this thread but I didn’t see how heavy you went with the gbd SS.

I’m thinking about doing 3 layers of equal volume. Bottom third with a heavy concentration, middle third with recommended, and top with just soil and ewc. I’m thinking of a 1.5x concentration on bottom.

I went approximately 1.25x the recommended, but I also went fairly heavy with castings and guano on the bottom and middle. Middle section of SS was at probably .75x full strength. Castings and soil at the top.

I like what you propose for your next go, I doubt it would be too strong, at least on the bottom. Middle might be too hot, I could be wrong though. This girl early on was borderline N tox, but settling down now.

I would like to try a coots mix with amendments from build a soil or kis organics. Need room to do it though and I have none. Ever try cooking your own soil?

Never tried any of that, I bet it would do well. Give it a shot.
