Nutrients Waira's next photo' op' with Biotabs!

-- great, thanks bud,.. I'm very curious,..and want to compare it with the Elite Resin-D 1-3-16 I have and am considering using,... or may score a small can of the Dense!

>>> @Sweet Seeds @Sweet Seeds Jay :pighug:--- (.looks like an earlier tag failed)... I wanted to whistle you mates up here to check Psicodelicia and Crystal Candy out, and pick you brains some about these two! :woohoo1: -- grow, smoke, etc.,...:eyebrows:

:smoker1: Week 9-ish update :smoking:
:headbang: Rockin' along nicely,.... Man are they thirsty!.. weather has been just right too, so I can't say why they're hauling so much water,... Think Fast has been screwing with my head, looking dry in leaf posture, even after solid watering,.. checked, and the petioles are stiff, just seem to have set that curved posture for good... She is now the bulkiest plant, if not quite the tallest,... CC and Canna'-Haze are hot on her heels,...:coffee:.... pH's have been staying good, though the water's now over 200ppm, so I'm adding a dash of citric acid to the watering pails when I go that route,... I do some watering direct from the hose (which has a carbon filter for Cl),... Time to dive into the lowers/inners and snip out poor exposure tips, and do a little more LST,... Fingers crossed :goodluck:-in the next couple weeks or so, first bud crowns start showing! Nutritionally, things are great so far, and likely, I'll brew a test batch of PK tea in the next few days,....
My vexation this year: the f'ing black flier aphids have been the worst ever- :cuss: :finger:... small wonder, given the rain we had this year,...lots of stuff to eat around earlier in the year, but as things dry and die off, the population usually dwindles soon after,... but now, they are still a plague! 15-20 on each plant, every day, crapping larvae out almost right away,... aside for the odd leafhopper here and there, no other vermins though-- SNS 209 is the real deal,.. Besides, nothing stops the aphids from landing and baby crapping, it's the color of the lush vegetation that reels them in,... so, it's spinosad spray and manual tiny brush sweeping! :amazon:

@A-Train ..:baked: did you get a chance to look at the DENSE formulation? I'm hoping to get some clues from this about if they have proprietary ingrd.'s in there, if it's a form of K that's especially available,, what it's compounded with,.... I forgot if I asked how much you dilute, and how much is watered in,... looking to get some idea about how much total is going in! At 0-0-62, it's a razors edge of toxicity with K+,.. that and how well the CEC buffering is holding/releasing it too,... I know it'll be likely different between the Promix and true soil,... but I see zero issues with your use of it, and well, we know what the results are like! :woody: :spels:

>>> :pass: Bunny, what's good mate? Thank you for popping in,.. I see you're in the fray now too- :woohoo1:... yeeesshhhh, now is an interesting phase! --watching branch development, shaping, node stacking,... growth rate changes, especially after bloom initiates (I hope in a couple weeks or so); stretch is a mystery for me on all of these, not having grown them before, and some of the Sati-dom's may still go off! But if my eye is good, I'm seeing a slowing of vertical growth now, thankfully! Even the Cannalope Hz. and Psico' doing more bushing than stretching :greenthumb:,...10gal pots are not exactly roomy accommodations- -- and the way they're drinking tells me the roots are FAT,... poking at the top soil, it's getting solid already, very little loose soil,... so I hope this bit of squeeze tells then to ease up! If you read the intro, you saw I'm not running them as a true test, I'm using other goodies too,... A near disaster last year with this "super soil" KindSoil (now an ex-vendor here!) has me watching VERY closely the plants responses,... the P sourcing in it was weak, and right at bud-set, a mass P defc. hit them :cuss:-- made for compromised density and bud:leaf ratio, even with emergency P bombing,... it helped, but too late to fully fix... .... At least we have that killer PK tea with Biotabs! And my questions above here with A-T' are about using that DENSE product, which has made a big difference in his already superb bud quality! I plan to dose these girls with high K towards the end of bloom,...:eyebrows:

Interesting stuff Waira. Looks like I need to pay attention to K if bud density is an issue! Like you say hopefully the PK tea will do the trick. I'm thinking I might try and get hold of some Bio Tabs liquid PK aswell. Laters

Muriate of potash (MOP) = Potassium chloride and im watering it in at 2 grams per Liter. Typical dose depending on plant size is 1.5 to 2 liters. The videos say only water because at this dose your dropping a K bomb on your plant at over 1200 ppm. Straight K
