Live Stoners Virginia is for Growers

Need to have one of these young guys teach me how to make a grow diary lol.

Who you callin' "young"?!?

There's basically two options for creating a grow diary:
  1. "Forum Diary" - Just create your own thread in the New Grower's Grow Journals forum (here) and add as you go, or
  2. "Blog Diary" - Create a blog-style diary by following the tutorial (here) and create individual pages for each entry
The forum style is more conversational - it'll be a typical linear forum thread where people can post / respond / interrupt. It can lead to conversational tangents / etc as you go, but may be a bit simpler. The blog style is a bit more controlled / organized where comments from the peanut gallery are relegated to the bottom of the page, and it's more like you're writing "articles" for each journal entry.

Here are some responses from mods when I asked about the two options. Personally, I think the forum style is easier for new growers / first-time journals, and the blog style is better if you are more experienced / have something you want to explain / etc (e.g., if you wanted to do more of a "how to do X" type of diary).

Oh, and :welcome: to AFN! Look forward to seeing your babies - Virginia FTW!!!

How did I not realize you were VA as well  grow diary is in my signature!

BTW, for all the VA growers, in case you need it for reference:

Text of the new state law is here. Section on home cultivation is here.

There's tons of news articles / web pages about "what the new law means", but I had to dig a bit to find the actual official wording.

For some reason, I assumed you were California

I'm northern VA, though - so it's almost like a different state up here...
Nah, I've lived in NOVA before, up there and down here in HR are a lot alike.

Good call. It's crazy how fast and loose some peoples' interpretation has been of what seems like a pretty straightforward (Albeit disjointed) piece of legislation. I wandered into a random Facebook group mostly out of curiosity, and the level of misinformation floating around there was pretty terrifying.
Anyway, SWVA grower here. NOVA is definitely another state. :p At least it's legal in both. :pass:

Y’all should come up to the mountains. We love flat landers.
