New Grower Vegasbear's Noob Growing Adventures

Some of them are so densely packed or larger it's hard to mitigate that. I am really unsure of myself with defoliating - can I start that at four weeks?
just the ones touching the coco or whatever you're growing in should be ok to pluck...dry climates and wet/damp/shaded leaves = pm.. Better to have a lesser harvest than a bigger one you have to bin because of pm. Assuming a little defoliation leads to a noticeably smaller harvest, which is debatable.

Just curious how close your lights are buddy?
Raising them might encourage some vertical growth. And you can start defoliation anytime if the plant is healthy, just don't take too much at a single time, I believe people go by a 10-15% rule

Agree 100%.. they look great atm m8.. chill lol.. dont overthink it.. defoliating in my experience doesn't stop buds growing swelling sparkling and smoking great.. so take a few leaves.. if u seen any signs of any spores powdery mildew or the like stick it in here str8 away.. I dont think u will personally but just my 2 Bob's worth. Relax and let them do their thing.. feed.. leave till tomorrow.. repeat until done :smoking: :jointman:
Going to clean them up later tonight. Thanks

First Grow - Day 28 - HG WW x California Snow Auto
Day 28.

I decided to take a whack at cleaning these up as two were VERY densely bushy. Went from nervous, to "I can do this, it's easy," to hoping I didn't wake up in the AM to my plants dead. Watered/fed 1/2 gal each.

First Grow - Day 29 - HG WW x California Snow Auto
Day 29.

All plants are drinking a LOT every single day now. Fed/Watered each one with 1/2 Gal RO Water, 9ml Big Bloom, 3ml Grow Big, 1.25ml Tiger Bloom, and 5ml CalMag per gallon. I have read that the Tiger Bloom is really strong and should only be used at 1/4 strength in Autos. FF Trio schedule says 3:1 1 at this point so I'm running 3:1:0.25. Unless anyone can tell me differently, I think I'll keep the Tiger Bloom at 1/4 the rest of the way?

First pic when I got home:

Doesn't seem like any of them really cared about all the trimming. I removed about 15 more leaves today and LSTed them down.

Tried to get a couple shots from below:

After another tiny defol and tying them back into submission:

The lights are exactly 18" above the canopies after training.

Couple of my plants are starting to look like this at their new growth sites:

Is this signs of pre-flower?

Also, do I continue to adjust my LST through flowering, or do I just leave her tied down as she is when she starts flowering?

Yep that's what it looks like to me. Flowers on the way.

Flowering indeed. Have u ever checked out autobeasts topping thread m8? I think it will answer any questions that u have on the finer details of plant bondage :smoking:
