New Grower Vegasbear's Noob Growing Adventures

Day 18

Watered with feed at 5ml A&B, 5ml CalMag in 1Gal RO water every other day. Full watering only uses about 3/4-4/5 gal total. I will be over the moon if I can pull a couple grams off of each of these considering the super cheap lights.

Thank you!

I'm trying to learn my Canon DSLR and save up for a decent 50mm lense so I can take better pics!

So, I have been working on putting a 3D printer build together, so that I can test out an idea for an upcoming grow in a few months. Should be fun!

So, Lt. Dan decided that his colas were ALL too heavy and that he no longer identified as a cannabis plant. Came home to find him flopped out in every direction on the other plants. A hundred feet of fishing line and creative profanity later and he's a little better.

He will be getting harvested Thursday.

So to prepare for that, we need to make soke drying racks for our new Curidor Pro fridge.

After much deliberation, I decided that half inch PVC would do the trick.

Made the frames today - there are ten, ea ch 19.5" x 17.5" and I should be able to dry a lot more than in the minifridge.

Always remember to measure the stop-depth of your fittings and total fitting size so you don't have to do a bunch of trimming and shortening to get everything the right size. Measure twice, cut once.

Now, one way to attach screen is with PVC clamps, which cost a few bucks each from one of those DIY PVC Furniture sites. But they can be made for pennies with 3/4 pvc by cutting approx 1/3 of the larger pipe away and filing a taper to allow it to smoothly snap over.

Here's one mostly done, just needing sanding to fitment.

However, due to tight fitment at the outside edges I have decided to use screws. More on this tomorrow.

Will do. I have to refi our house, which means paying down about $15k in stuff before we go through in a few months. The good news is it'll save us $1500 a month. But I asked my beau for the printer stuff I want for christmas.

Soon...
