no rush bro lol......I'm not goin anywhere haha, watch me mess it up first ....also dude, I was thinking of the post on another thread you tagged me in to, where you exp!ained that you transplant when the plant sexes.......to make the plant shorter/bushier.....well, I have noticed, on a few occasions as well dude, that my plants show sex 24-48hrs after being topped, only some mind and I always forget to look and photo for my own evidence.....I'm sure it happened with the Bubba K dude....I cut them, tie the two ends down and then look a day or two later and there at the join is a single flower or two, but only on one side haha.....is this normal?

I have given plants a good bend in the past, just not mainlining.

The plant below topped her self. weird genetic thing!

I'm not sure but maybe the time you choose to top and pin could be when the plant is about to become sexuallu mature.
It would be great to see a side by side to see if the apical dominance is affect the auxins and speeds up flowering when pinned down?

Hiya AFN....absolutley pissing down here atm....not bothered tho because the ground and the trees need it.....anyway, remember how I said a few posts back that I won't be bending the BK anymore?.....well that was an utter un-truth my dear, dear reader....I apologize from the bottom of my swinging brick ....my idle hand have been busy today hehe.....sometimes, because of my ADHD I do not see things that are plainly obvious to others, and supporting the middle underneath when I bend down the stems was one....this is totally essential to take the pressure off the stem where it joins the main stem....I will try and make a couple of pics this afternoon to help illustrate what I mean......some pics of this afternoon's work now.....stay safe everyoneView attachment 1185127View attachment 1185128View attachment 1185129

Past two days nothing but rain here!
Loving the bending and taking the stress of the main stem sounds good, no one wants to see it split!

Thanks bro and HOLY MACARONI that is one flat grow room lol......looks fantastic!!.....question is, do you even need to mainline?.....bcoz that is one flat, open, level canopy...right there!!!....and I will try the evidence thing on the Amnesia XXL Auto..I'm usually too stoned to remember haha

I was messing around and wanted to try and grow a carpet of buds.
Mainling is something I'd like to try! Having 8 or so equal colas just looks nice!
I been looking at mainlining since "Nug buckets" first showed it to the world but with photos.
Loads of people now do it with autos but it is not a style I have tried or mastered,
I love playing around trying new stuff, so this is one I'd like to get under my belt and check it off!
The pic below shows the carpet I was going for, just coming into flower.

The pic below show the cab later on when flowering, to be honest I should have defoliated more but it was an experiment.
The yield was ok but there were far too many leaves in the canopy

True, I have seen a guy on IG who pulls them right down like that.....he says he gets a good harvest, but they are always small buds...I like to let them go up, I like watching them develop into buds ....great job tho dude

However there is something nice about some nice chunky buds!
Bigger buds dry slower, which aint a bad thing small buds need more care to dry them a bit slower.
I bought a "Herbs Now" bud drier, which I have not used yet, cost a flipping fortune once postage , customs and tax had been added. On top of that I had to buy a step down transformer because it runs on 110V and we're 240V, so that was another expense.
On another forum where you showed your Spirit Walkers a buddy has the same drier and by all accounts says it works well and keep a nice smell!
So let hope my next harvest will be dried nicely too!

Hope so dude, I know a guy in Illinois who has one and says it works well

DAY 30/34....THESE LADIES ARE LOVING LIFE....UN-FLIPPIN' BEE-LEAVE-ABLE....very happy with how its goin' in my garden atm, BK have been growing well and I am happy with my descision not to pull them anymore.....gonna start using flower burst tomorrow on these .25ml per ltr....added some cross ties to pull some stems into the middle and took a few leaves, dropped them about 3" as I am gonna let them stretch up a bit.....Amnesia look happy and hopefully will be shooting upwards soon so I can top the pots off, had about 2" go down when I first watered.....View attachment 1184222View attachment 1184224View attachment 1184228View attachment 1184229
