New Grower V: Twenty20 Mendocino Purple Biscauto

At this rate I have lost more seeds than you have popped. I'm at a below 50% germ rate at this point. Frustrating considering I only got 1 of each of the artisanal seeds at like $18 a piece shipped.

Day 1: 6/18/21 Sprouts above soil! Really quick germination again. I think these Twenty20 seeds are just plain fast. 3 days in soil and I've got two solid seedlings.

So far: 6/14 24hr soak
6/15-6/17 in jiffy pellet (checked at 11pm and nothing)
6/18 10 AM sprouted!

The one on the left is the seed that had the larger tail initially in the shotglass. Righty caught way up!

Shell is off but the membrane is pinched tight! Hopefully once the cotyledons open a bit more it will let go.

Temporary closet home for a few days. They are in their final pots, covered with some loose fitting plastic humidity domes.

Setup:

1.5gal / 5.5L airpots
BioBizz LightMix soil
Presoaked with 2L of 50/50 dechlorinated tap water and distilled water. Starting 104ppm and 7.5pH
2ml/L Miicrobial Mass
2.5ml BioRoot
1 TBSP Mykos granules under the jiffy pellet
(final numbers 260ppm 6.5pH)

They are currently under a MarsHydro TS1000 at 34" and fully dimmed 24/0 schedule
Hygrometer placed between the pots and I'll get a reading tonight after it settles in a bit.

@Twenty20 Adam : They're up!

Day 4: 6/21 - Pulled the humidity domes off. Was creating condensation on the leaves even though the bottoms weren't touching all the way around and several holes in the top. Environment is holding steady at close to 80F and 53%

Light intensity bumped to 25% and lowered to 12" , they were starting to look a bit stretchy again so trying to lower the light enough that it does not happen as bad as my last ones. Which, incidentally made watering much easier since all the leaves were well above the soil!

Lefty, had to pull the membrane off. It was stuck good.

Got the BioAg sample kit so adding a couple new things. Going to try following their recommendation for fulvic/humic products. They recommend both soil and foliar use from seed to finish. We will see how it goes!

Day 5: 6/22 Bumped intensity to 45% @12" on 20/4 schedule, AM Ful-Power foliar spray

Day 6: 6/23 Bumped intensity to 50% @14" 250ml water 3.75ml Ful-Power 1ml silica - 98ppm and 6.7pH

Day 7: 6/24 added nothing

Day 8: 6/25 added nothing but! Remembered to take pictures:

A little leggy again. I prepared for it needed some support but it has not!

Day 10: 6/27 Both grew quite a lot so I took another set of pictures. Lefty with the support is doing better. Righty seems to have gotten a little something going on the edges of one leaf. I raised the light a few more clicks as the temp was reading 85-87f, now it's back to 83-84f.

Mixed up 500ml of distilled water and added 1ml silica and 4ml BioAg Ful-Power ph to 6.4 and split 250 ml to each.

Little edge curl on the leaf facing the camera. I think too hot so moved the pot 180º and raised the light. Still at 50% intensity.
