I got my Cannacage in the mail today and its much bigger than i thought it would be :smoking:i was going to try and stuff this into a 2.3x2.3 tent but i think my 4x4 tent will do a better job of showing it off, just give me a few weeks to get the space ready for the 4x4.

Only some minor damage to the cage during shipping that i can fix with either jb weld or hot glue.. or maybe even zipties if im lazy haha but i want this to look nice so i think i'll try the 1st 2 options, it will be easy to solder/weld/glue these back together, no problem for me.

The box had TONS of shipping packaging in it which is nice to see but 1 rod did poke out

Doubt it will fit in the 2.3x2.3 hahaha

I can't wait either! I am going to have to wait a few weeks as i planned on this being in a different tent but no worries as this will be a better test in my 4x4, i'll plant one of my bigger strains like bruce banner as i have 2 bruce banners in my 4x4 and they are big girls, i think they will be the best test strain i have for your Cannacage. I'll plant the seed for this test next week, and by the time she is ready to be caged and trained the tent should be ready. Sorry for the delay, cage was bigger than i thought

Here is the tent i am waiting on and the 2 big plants( back left,front right) are the bruce banner auto strain i'll test with the cannacage.

Mine came today! Like zeromitch, minor damage and a few popped welds but made it here fine. I didn’t see any clips so I’ll dig thru and check again. Got JB and soldering, zip ties. I’ll repair and hope clips can be found. Will be dropping a couple seeds this weekend and the tent is ready to roll. Gonna try it in a 5 gal Sun-irrigated planter bucket.

I will update as we go along. Are we posting here with our grows? And I got no tripod but will mark my position for ease of angle replication.

I got some jb weld as my old batch was old and hard. Tomorrow i'll repair the few busted joints and take some pictures, if i can fix it anyone can.

Rechecked package and no clips. I don’t think it’s necessary to send more clips. I am industrious and will use small zip ties to join the halves.

@Cannacages You could save yourself and future customers a ton on shipping if you made this modular, in a way that it could be flat packed.

Tubes welded to the wires would provide sockets for slip fit, or tubes could be welded to create a tinker toys like junction.

I wanted to post something like this but feared backlash from cannacages. Already have ideas on how to accomplish this. Would be able to fit 12 kits in the same shipping box we received. 24x24x2” boxes. About the size of a bass drum head box. Modular, yes… legs and hoops separate. 3D printed connectors. Assemble at home. Maybe use heavier gauge rods, aluminum for weight reduction? I was an erector set junkie when I was young and owned one of those ball bearing rollercoasters that had slip fit plastic connectors for the structure assembly. I got ideas, man! Could save time on production and shipping… I sent Dante a pm asking if they would accept ideas to make the cages better. Only sent this am so not expecting to hear from him til after the weekend…

I zip tied the broken joints and applied JB weld over the zip tie and joint and i am letting it set/cure now. after it has cured i will bend the wires more straight.

I set it up on a 5 gallon bucket to show how it fits that container size

i like the clips, i think 3 per side would be perfect
