I know right! they were so stunted mid growth when the ph got off in the soil and every time i started to chop them they would show some signs of life. I had the room so i just let them grow.

I see a deep green lady in full bloom = nice. No, no PH issue with her.

I have five in 1/2 soil and 1/2 soilless. Still trying find that soil etc. to keep PH in line. What is so odd is that I tested soil. And PH always drives downward during pre-flowering. This time same occurred but only one plant took a big hit (genetically, one I did not expect sweet seed--sweet cheese--but it is growing more than others). Others seemed to shrug it off. All have their own odd idiosyncrasies. Going to check PH on sweet cheese and start flower nutes. Others just feed.

The plugs I used too. Noticed seeds fell too far down. Now, most of woody part of stalk is underground. Next time need to place seeds up higher in plugs and maybe squeeze a bit.

Are you using soil and the water system. Which do you prefer now based on your time and effort.

I will more than likely post pics towards harvest time. I had to resupply with some 3rd party canna. Once one starts growing it is distasteful not to med. with one's own canna. My worst grows and ugliest looking buds are superior to beautiful buds coming from unknown growing conditions. Using it is not as pleasurable.

BTY--Are you going to treat us landlocked in bleak landscapes with some seaside pictures. We will keep a close watch on your journal while you're on vacation. Just in case some non-canna porn shows up.

Take it easy.

Hey my friend, so glad you stop'd in. Ya the ph problems happened when i added sand to stop gnats from infected ffof. No problem with the promix/mosquito dunks and the plants do seem to love the promix much more than ffof (as you can see in the green) and so do i. A bro dropped by with some 3rd party canna (i like the phrase). It was purp, had the smell and taste but your 100% right as my smallest battered plant was still so much potent that what he had. I love my meds. Ive only had to do the 3rd party 2 times since i started my one meds.

This round i cut a slit in the plug on one side so i could place the seed where i wanted it and they all stayed in place.
Yes i'm doing soil and water and right now i'm leaning more toward water. It's cleaner, less expensive, and much easier to keep the ph right on point. The first plant i did in water was my biggest yield to date but it was also my first plant to have the cfl and led from start to finish. I'll have to wait till this grow is done where i have both soil and water under all lights start to finish to really compare yield.

Cant wait to see what you post when you do.

Heck ya bro what i see at the beach yall will see but it will probable just be of a bunch of seashells:D:peace:

UF. Water = DWC or Deep Water Culture. You were kind in not correcting me. I got lazy while writing and figured you would catch on. Been terribly lazy lately as you witnessed. The ppm/ec is important from what I understand. Maybe in the summer I can get one rolling.

Funny you mention the 'purple' that is one of the strains I picked up. Same great smell/taste. Just not like home brew (grown).

Good idea with the plugs.

Any photos will do. Ocean, shells, sand, Japanese trash, big fish, little fish etc.

Have fun.

Ya i know where your coming from bro, i've pretty lazy myself lately. I also have read and been told that the ppm/ec is important too but i just dont know as i cant check mine. I only have a ph meter so i'm going to have to just ride on luck again. Just been following the ol fox farm feeding chart for hydro and hoping for the best. What got me going on the dwc was i had a bottle of grow big for hydro that i picked up instead of the soil one. I hate letting things go to waste ya know so here i am doing dwc. If it keeps going well i might buy a new meter with the other readings but that will be on my next grow.
I'll try not to disappoint on the beach pics come May:buds::peace:
