I underestimated the low nitrogen intake and burned my first auto SLIGHTLY which is good, fed her 1tsp/gal of ff grow big and 3 tsp of big bloom and fed about 8-12 oz of that mix. Now she looKs sad and over watered because I flushed the crap outta her medium hoping she perks back up because today's day 25 and I noticed flowers, point here is for ppl new to autos even tho I used less that 1/3 dose of general feeding it was too much! I also think my organic soil is packed with nitrogen because the baby's are showing slight yellowing also hoping they can muscle it thru

Hey Brother

Welcome to The Forum, I'm sure you'll like it here once you find your way around and get involved a little bit.

Kind of hard to see what you're talking about HPS lights. If you began with your soil at 6.5 pH and have been giving mostly Clearwater then you're probably off to a great start. It's not a good idea to offer any feed to your plants until you start seeing some deficiencies.

Are you saying that your new plants, the younger ones are showing yellowing?

My PH varies from 6.2 - 7.0 that I have down but there is slight yellowing on the baby plants just barely the tips but no curling, I've always used the same local organic soil but I think from now on if I continue to do autos instead of photos I'm going to use a more neutral soil like ff ocean forest, I see it at my local hydro store but only used it once or twice, I checked on the girls before.work today and the one.startimg to flower perked back up since yesterday's flush, even the.curling wasn't as bad so I'm pretty sure.i caught.it.in time

Also I did feed her two or three times before last feed where I burned here but only 1/3 suggested dose.of growbig because I've read alot about autos sensitivity to nitrogen

They can be pretty sensitive nitrogen. There have been a lot of guys who have had trouble with that fox farm ocean forest soil, I read somewhere that they aren't using the same lime deposits that they used to and you can get some pH Swings with it. Back when I used to grow the photos there were times that fox farm was way too hot to start off in.

I usually don't mind slight burn with photos because I have time to fix it, new at this auto thing tho lol I flushed yesterday and she looked alright when I got home today tho the tips of new growth are still yellow and.the very tops are curling, and if not foxfarm OF what do you recommend? All my seedlings that sprouted are in the soil I always used before and this OG is in so I'm gonna not feed nitrogen to them till they're stronger and almost to flower

These pics are what it's looks like with no hps on

Some of the drooping is from the flush still I believe because was away worse yesterday and there's noticeable new growth

I gave up on soil years ago. First I switch to deep water culture now I just do straight Coco. The only thing I don't like about Coco is I just seem to grow real monster plants, that seems to be the way it is if you have decent lights and Coco you can get 10, 12, 14, 16 oz from an Autoflower.

The big thing that got me to give up soil in the first place was all the bugs. Seems like most the hydro shops in my area they store their soil outside and then you always get thrips. I had some good local soil that I was buying for a while it didn't have any bugs and it worked great, but it would have been a little too strong for autoflowers.

Coco hmmm those yields would be great I was thinking like 4-5 oz a plant under my 600 w with some practice at these babys
