Hello everyone so I’ve been using a Ultrasonic humidifier in my tent which was a great purchase but have one question. I am in the flowering stage and now I’m wondering is it bad to have the thing misting on my plants? I want to say the answer is yes? It’s a warm and cool mist, and I only had the warm mist on during veg, now that it’s in flower I have it on cool. But should I put it on a chair above the plants to mist. It does fog and go into the plants and I don’t want any bud rot to occur.

Yeah if it’s fogging and getting on the plants it’s a good opportunity for bud rot and mold

What is your room humidity? Unless it is really out of bounds, I would be careful about using any kind of mist on your buds. If you need to raise humidity without mist, and you have room, a container of water with a towel hanging in it and a fan on the towel works reasonably well, and should bring RH up about 10% or so.

Could be maybe @Waira like give some experienced eyes.
It may be. How's your VPD? What is your temp and rh?
Keep my VPD from the 1.1 - 1.6 range. I accidentally left my humidifier up one night so it was 55-60%rh at 68 degrees :/. But typically I keep the temp around 72-78 depending on how hot it is and the rH from 40-55, 55 being the highest point when I’m not home to fix it. I going to get my dehumidifier going to keep my rH at 40.

But question if I keep my VPD in the green zone will mildew still happen? Should I take preventative action toward the mildew and still aim for 45-50% rH

Do you have a fan in there circulating air around too? 40-50% humidity shouldn't typically cause issues, especially if you have good air movement. Either way though, definitely dont want a mister or humidifier blowing directly onto your buds

I have a fan blowing on the canopy and one pulling air out, but if I raised my humidifier above the plants and have it mist will that be okay?
