Who here remembers the good old days when hash was king? Where soap bar/ rocky was as common as muck and it wouldn’t be uncommon to find a big of rolled up duct tape inside the lump lol. If you were lucky tho you could sometimes get some squidgy black, pollen, gold seal, leb etc. Plus if you were able to get hold of real weed back then it was nothing too what it is now and you were probably better off sticking to the resin lol.

I am currently on my first grow. Bought two seeds and planted them outdoors and have brought them into a tent now.

Years ago on my way to uni I stopped off at my cousins farm and found a giant bush growing wild. We pulled off a couple of branches put them in black dustbin bags and then had no idea what to do with them. This was very early days of the internet and there was very little to no information about the process then. The buds went mouldy so we just dried them out in the oven and used a sieve to break them up.
After buying those two seeds and then subsequently reading and studying, watching vids etc etc I have learnt we literally did everything wrong. I highly doubt we picked those flowers anywhere near the right time to and that stuff still got us stoned for a long long time.

So even if I get stuff half right I am expecting some amazing weed.

That takes me back lol brilliant.. big chunk of plastic in the middle.. hot rocks burning holes in your best tracky bottoms hahaha no such thing as weed back in them days where I am.

Why was there no weed, it was always pollen, black etc, Croydon in the late 80’s>90’s maybe peeps were like sod the buds let’s make hash instead. Only started seeing it in 92 and my love affair began, lol

It was a rarity where I am too. Maybe 2005-ish hash stopped being the norm and weed room over

I had those in my area too but hardly ever was there any weed. But anything other than soap wasn’t too common really
