That's from Ed Rosenthal Marijuana Growers Handbook.
A lot of people do, do it in flower, but I'm pretty sure it's earlier on. At least that's what makes sense to me, I wouldn't want to hinder the flow of nutrients, water etc. Right before harvest.

I know mate don’t worry I’m not a total loon, I pretty much always supercrop in veg and early flowering. This is for the last two days simply to get light to lower smaller buds below the tops.

I don’t want the multiple tops to repair themselves. I want what’s underneath and just below the tops to get some light before she gets the chop.

I’m not insane dude [emoji23] [emoji106]

Supercropped Gorilla OG Auto. I snapped this one and then let her grow back without tying her down. Looks like she’ll hopefully give me a decent main cola and lots of fat sides. Hopefully!

Lol I wasn't implying that. You said, you had not done it before, so I wasn't sure. Although me personally, I like to harvest the tops then let the bottoms go 5-7 days longer. I know everyone has different ways of doing things.
All love brother.

Dude, the bits above the bend are ripe! Lol. Flow of nutrients really doesn't matter?

And not sure why you think those buds are quick drying mate? They are in a cool cupboard for about 10 days. Thats good for me.

I hope I don't sound like a knob, but we all do things our own way dude :pass:

Lol that's why I said I cut them, then let the lowers ripen up.
I was also saying that I am not a fan of quick drying and sampling, but I would of the bud you have pictured, because it looks good, It's a compliment. Lmao
I wasn't saying that's what you are doing, they're hanging and drying as they should.

See mate, my brain is just wired up wrong! :crying:

I get things well befuddled in the old noggin :nono:

All peace and love here too buddy btw :pass: :d5:

I often sound like a prick, but I'm not! :crying:

I am a tiny weeny bit autistic though, so sometimes I really struggle to get the meaning in what people say.
It's all good boss. We're both adults. In the one reply I was just saying the same things, that we do things different, some of it's a personal preference, some could be situational.
I've grown, harvested, dried and cured many different ways, sometimes not properly or unorthodox so to speak. All love brother. Your plants look great. I'd be a proud father to the likes of them any day.
I'm happy as hell that you are sharing, because I just found out about UGorg last year, and have been wanting to try their genetics.
