I've just been very kindly gifted some Karels Haze beans by @Biotabs F69 and these sound pretty special!

Apparently there's Chem Dog OG Fire in the cross!

I think I'm gonna run them as they look to be some very special genetics.

So, now I'm not sure. I'm thinking maybe I HAVE to do the Karels Haze!

yeah I'm in the state of Michigan and they're getting ready to change a lot of the stuff going on around here I was just hearing on the news this morning we're going to vote on it being recreational legal in Michigan in November and they're hashing it out right now but they're talking about everybody being able to grow 12 plants I doubt that they're not going to let that happen that would be a freaking nightmare for everybody law enforcement would freaking flip out I live in a town it's pretty good size City we used to have 80 dispensaries they just knocked it down to 25 and made everybody get a license they got that kind of figured out.
it's very cool City I'm in everybody as long as you're over the age of 18 can have a half ounce on private property you can smoke on private property so it's kind of semi recreational where I'm at right now but they're getting ready to change all that and it's going to become Statewide recreational if the bill goes through in November.
12 plants per person can grow that's what I do right now on a medical card and my wife does too so we can go 24 that's a lot of freaking weed dude if you have any idea what you doing OMG just off freaking 11 plants last year total I grew over 23 freaking pounds just in my summer outside grow not my spring grow not my fall grow last year. So there would be so much weed the dispensaries would cry.

Yeah we used to be able to take our overages to the dispensary and they would buy them for whatever cost they would wanted to give you basically because again they have a lot of their own Growers so with that being said now those dispensaries that made it through most of them have their own grower groups and also in the area here they put in a 220 acre cannabis farm that's commercial that has something like 20 10 acres sites for different commercial Growers

Gotta agree, I don't like modern social networks - good forums it's where it's at, where you can have a healthy discussion and find some really nice information - as was your post dude and thank you for that . I'm a lil' bit busy right now but be sure I'll be bothering you with more questions about all the legal aspects and such :smoking:. Semi-recreational sounds nice.

I think the real life experience for the small commercial grower is fooked now mate. From what I've seen and read, the big corporations are making it almost impossible for the small time growers to sell to dispensaries in a lot of places. Not surprising, as they have absolutely massive investments in these huge commercial operations. So they're doing stuff like seed to end user tracking and contamination testing. I think this is largely to kill off the small growers.

Think alcohol. Not many one man operations these days. Even the "small craft" producers are million pound investments now.

I personally don't think legalisation is a good thing!

That's exactly why I was asking @Growtogrow , as I was reading stuff like that lately, especially that Bayer will "buy off" genetics and stuff like that. I'm interested what kind of legislation would be the right one for cannabis, one that still protects the small time grower maybe?

Been there and done that with some 14-week Haze I ran the Neville's Haze Last Summer and if I wouldn't have been doing my tarping technique I would have never made it in fact it needed another two weeks but I harvested it on the day before a frost and I was coming close to Amber but still is off a little bit it needs a little bit longer huge plant oh my God it was almost 3 kilos but nobody really liked it it wasn't strong enough it was old school only 14 to 16% THC so it really didn't fly to well with my clients I ended up giving a lot of it away but I would love to have grown it all the way out to its fullest maturity it was a beautiful plant.
Sorry it's such a beautiful sativa I just had to show you guys.

Well that's what I was saying it takes a really long time to get to the end if you can take it I think 15 weeks it really needs if you can take it all the way out there I think it would be a better Bud the flavor is kind of a kind of a lemony lime if I remember right it's a real I guess you could say Harry plant I don't know I mean it's just got that classic sativa look the high is like I said it's not a great High it's you know compared to today's weed it's very low I had a really hard time getting rid of it I had to give a lot of it away in fact I gave really a lot of it way around Christmas time. I have more of the seeds and I was thinking because I'm starting to get into breeding now I was thinking about breeding the Neville's Haze with the outcome of some plants that I'm breeding together right now because it's so big it's such a huge plant that it might actually do what I want to do in the end but I don't know until I get there I also have a couple of seeds at the Blue Dream which is also a 3 kilo plant outside and I'm a breed all of it together to come up with what I'm looking for like I said it's all about the fun in the game right

How about making bubble hash or concentrates would maybe make it a bit easier to pass on just a thought
