to answear your question from the other thread i personally like to do it once about 4 weeks in cause if you do it too early they just grow back by week 6 so i wold try takeing the main light blocking fans out and next time do a heavy defoil about 4 week into flower after the main stretch has stopped hope this helps just go easy on them a bit not sure hoew the cookies reacts to stuff like this i know the cheese side can take any amount of abuse and still be fine

Thanks mate. So are you saying don’t defol until 4 weeks in and then do a big one? I’ve definitely noticed they just grow back lots of new fans. And presumably that energy could have gone into bud formation instead?

I’ve done a fairy light final defoliation anyway. They really needed it so hopefully they’ll be ok.

My hands are sticky as fook just from cutting fans off! Nice. Even the larger fans are starting to get frosty now.

yeah i reckon just after the main strectch when there are switching to full bud mode give them a good clean up remove all fan leafs that might get in the way but on this run it will be fine all it does is help them lowers get some more light less fluff for the hash pile

of coruse i mean in flower only defoil once you can defoil like a mad man in veg depending on how fast of a turnaround your looking for just to be clear for anyone reading

Update for the DiscoBiscuits and Blues at day 29/30 of flower.

Gave them a final defol yesterday and just took most of the bigger older fan leaves. Nothing drastic.

They still seem happy and healthy. Currently on 3.5ml/L of Bloom and 0.5ml/L of Boost It. Around EC 1.7 and PH 6.0

You’ll have to use your imagination to guess which photo is wha strain! The Blues are the two with more yellow around the bud sites. One much stickier than the rest.

gonna be thick with buds in here soon and another perk of photos so much more trim for hash i noticed alot of auto dont frost up there fans but photos certainly do i cant wait to do some bubble runs with my GB trim
