OMG ! I got the genetics of Blues wrong! :crying:

I said it was Blues x Cheese, but it's actually Blues (cut) x Killer Skunk.

Killer Skunk is Blues x SmellyBerry, and I believe the short stocky Blues I have in the tent is a SmellyBerry dom pheno. Yay!
Lol you do realize they are all very closely related. Blues/livers and cheese phenos supposedly all came from the same pack of sensi skunk. So your not that far off. That's why I love their Genetics. Scared they'll stopped offering regs. I need to buy as many packs as I can before they do if they do. I understand the females seed hype but it's all hype in my opinion. Regs are more stable, takes a little more work but people in our position should appreciate that, in my opinion. Some folks just grow for profit though.

Yeah man I wanna give all the UGORG strains a try. The premier sweet looks amazing but maybe a bit too sativa for me. But they all look fantastic.

I’m gonna get a 4200 bulb for next round of veg mate. But for flowering the agro is the one you want. Nice red spectrum :)

Your strains sound really interesting dude. There’s so bloody many I want to try!

Good luck wading through the rest of the nonsense on the thread mate :)
Looking at the wavelengths the 4200 isn't that bad, more blue a lot of red orange and lacks some in the far red in comparison, you also get a little extra uv from the 42. A lot of growers switch back to mh at the end of flower. Honestly the difference between 3000-4200 isn't that big.

Yes mate very aware of the genetics. 46 year old massive stoner in uk here so very familiar! :)
Been smoking cheese and blues since the 90s.

Agreed mate, not THAT much difference in the bulbs. But enough to make two bulbs, one for veg and one for flowering? I personally would NOT use the 3000k for veg as it will produce stretchy plants with spaced out nodes due to too much red in the spectrum. 3500k is bad enough for this.

I will using the daylight bulb for the last couple of weeks mate.

Lol I'm jealous. Don't know if I could smoke it that often, definitely love it though. Be nice to cross it with haze or something similar for daytime smoke. I only smoke cheese at night. Lol

To each his own buddy. I wouldn't use the 3k for veg either, but I would venture the 4k the whole way through, because it keeps them short and thick, with genetic make-up determining the rest. I've got a couple weeks to decide, pretty sure I'm going with the nanolux.
You definitely don't need anymore stretch. Im not sure how much this stretch, looking at your pics though you should be fine, might be close. Plants are beautiful though. Love their structure dude. Doesn't seem they could be much happier. Oh and I'm with you on your other comment too, about wanting to grow so many different strains. It's like Pokemon, gotta grow em all lmao. I make spontaneous decisions buying seeds, end up with more than I need, then make spontaneous decisions about what to grow next. I had my whole line up planned for the summer and it changed as quick as I wrote this last sentence lol money on card oh this is in stock, throw it in the bag. Dj Shorts bluberry was the only thing I stuck with. Wanted to grow a few Delicious strains out. Next year I guess. Anyways great job man definitely excited to see how these turn out. May the grow gods bless you.

Mate you should try Mephisto Stilton Special. It’s got Blues, Skunk [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG], NL and Haze of some sort! Pretty special strain actually. And like you say it’s perfect for daytime smoke. Grown a couple of them. Fairy good size plants too. I can’t smoke cheese all the time as it sends me a bit loopy if I do. Always been the same and only with cheese. Weird.

Yeah I totally hear you on the different colour temp lights. They all overlap loads. I’ve been using cobs the last year and they overlap like hookers in a heroine queue! :)

By the way, what height should my CMH be above the canopy mate? Currently two feet and plants looks happy so will leave them there a while?

I think it’s gonna be pretty close with the stretch / light height. I haven’t got more than a few inches I can raise the light so fingers crossed! And maybe another 6 inches to end up 18 inches from the light.

Also with you on choosing strains! Drives me insane. Have you seen some of the DNA strains with DJ Short blueberry in them? Some nice looking ones and I have some in the “cart” right now!

Thanks for the kind words dude, hopefully I won’t fook anything up during flower!

I've tried the Northern Cheese Haze. I really liked that one, low smell too. I'd like to get a few more and try to push them harder. I'm with you on smoking the cheese. First I ever had was LA cheese, that turned me on to cheese and it's siblings or cousins whatever you want to call them. Lol Also tried their sour livers, fell in love, I've now got packs of sour livers, bubbly livers, sour orange livers, and sour alien livers. Hoping to get those all going for an early harvest. Pretty sure UGorg is next on the list for strains involving cheese. I just found out about them last year browsing attitude and was pissed I never heard of em before. Lol Mostly because I prefer regs.
Ya I've seen some of DNA's catalog been a little bit since if looked though. I've actually got a pack of Miners Wife too (bodhi's mother's milk×djs blueberry) that his son Jd Short made, second generation genetics. He's got some blueberry heavy strains, naturally lol second generation genetics works with him and make crosses of autos with Blueberry in it too. Worth checking out.
As for the cmh height, I have no personal experience, only recently have I been pondering the idea. I've just been looking for the brand or what not I want to go with and looking over the wavelength graphs and all. I've read some people get em low as a foot before seeing bleaching. All plants aren't equal so I'd keep it where it is and lower it a few inches every couple days. I think 18 inches is the lowest I've seen anyone keep them though. The plants will tell you when it's too close, I'm sure you know that already. I'd definitely start lowering it some though, that way when she hits her stride maybe you can take her some with the light and the plants will be used to the higher intensity already. That's what I'd do, your what 3 days from 2 weeks, so they should be showing off soon lol

Haha bit of a thing for The Livers mate!! :crying:

I've grown some lovely mephisto strains for sure. Alien vs Triangle is killer. Sour Alien Livers sounds the absolute nuts, but I missed the drop. Doh! I THINK I'm gonna stick with photoperiods for a bit. I love them so far. Really quite different to autos! Structure etc just seems different as you have more time to manipulate them I guess.

Really not sure what to do about the lights. I think I will take your suggestion of lowering a couple of inches and see what happens.
